I used this particular drive to transfer photos and videos from the iPhone to free up space. I was surprised by the speed! 98GB of files in about 30 minutes.
Time will tell, but so far I am quite satisfied.
The only negative I would say is that Samsung's Magician software does not work so well on Mac.

Extremely low speeds, 2 to 3 mb/s.
Useless... At first it worked fine and after a few months its speed dropped dramatically. Occasionally it comes back and works. Completely unreliable product, first and last time I buy something from this company.

Not a top product at all. Stay away!!! It was connected and burned out. Also, SSD drives can't be repaired, they're for the trash. Samsung's service requires sending it to central Netherlands via UPS. It took UPS 1.5 months to pick it up, and just as long for them to receive it there. Leave! Choose another company with headquarters in Greece. Neither Samsung nor SSD.

Perfect external hard drive where I replaced my old type drives.
I no longer worry about possible spills or dropping it on a carpeted floor.
For me, it has very slow speed (25Mb/s instead of 1000Mb/s) because I have an old computer with a USB 2 connection and ExFat format.
From what I saw in videos on the internet, with USB 3+ and MacOs or NTFS format, the speed takes off to the advertised speed.

Generally, with ExFat, which is compatible with all types of computers, it runs at 25mb/s, while with Mac or NTFS format it reaches 1000mb/s, but it is not compatible with all computers regardless of format.
When I upgrade my machine, I will update the review.

Usage with Final Cut for video editing, very good, fast, etc. Unfortunately, I confirm the comments about disconnections, which were not that frequent for me, so it didn't particularly concern me during the 1 year of use. That's why I take away 1 star. The T5 did not have this problem. Now let's move on to the T9 to see...

I already have the hard drive here for a few months, I thought I would mention the problems I have with this specific SSD with continuous disconnections. From time to time, it disconnects either when I use it for video or photo, but also during games that I have saved on it, causing the program to crash. I have had it for 2 days and out of curiosity, I tried copying a 4k movie of 5gb to it and to the USB stick I was using before it.
On the USB stick, the movie took 4 minutes and 20 seconds, and on the external hard drive, it took 20 seconds.
Yes, I can't believe it runs so fast while being the size of a credit card and as thin as a smartphone.
Completely silent, with a very durable casing and with 2 cables included, a USB-C to USB-C and a USB-C to USB, with a thick casing.
I declare myself extremely satisfied, it's worth every penny.
