The Trident Z Royal Elite, the latest addition to G.Skill's Trident Z family, is aimed at demanding computer users such as gamers, professionals in the field of video and image processing, designers, and those who require high performance and impressive design from their computer.

DDR4

DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM memory technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and capacity.

It offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, response time (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 32GB per memory unit.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The above characteristics should be compatible with our motherboard specifications.

The Trident Z Royal Elite provides speed at 3600MT/s, with CL16 and 16GB per memory unit.

Compatibility

The DDR4 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and processors. Specifically, DDR4 is compatible with Intel Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake series processors, as well as the latest Intel processors, and AMD Ryzen and Threadripper series processors.

However, for compatibility with your motherboard, you need to make sure that your motherboard supports DDR4 technology from the manufacturer. Compatibility depends on the processor platform and the type of motherboard you are using.

RGB Lighting

This can be achieved either through the software provided by the company, Trident Z Lighting Control, or with compatibility with Sync Up software provided by motherboard companies. The advantage of Sync Up is that we can synchronize the RGB lighting of the entire computer.

The Trident Z is compatible with Asus Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and ASRock Polychrome Sync software.


Cooling & Design

The Trident Z Royal Elite series features a beautiful and sophisticated design, inspired by jewelry. It is designed to reflect RGB lighting in all directions for an elegant appearance that resembles a diamond.

The crystal light bar on the top of the heatsink, combined with its gold or silver color, creates a stunning lighting effect.

In addition, the aluminum construction material of the heatsink keeps the memory modules at a relatively low temperature even during demanding operations.
