Description & Specifications

A category of its own.

Exceptional features, outstanding sound, and consistently high quality are the key ingredients of the Ovation Pro series.

For the last five decades, Ovation has made a name for itself through innovative advancements and modern designs, especially among advanced and professional musicians. Legendary global stars have sworn by the instruments of the American manufacturer for decades, and model names like Balladeer, Legend, and Elite significantly contribute to the brand recognition of Ovation to this day.

All these historic models, with their unique characteristics, are combined in the Pro series and continue to represent the core range of Ovation guitars.

  • ULTRA: Between 1983 and 1994, Ovation Ultra models were already produced in versions with or without Cutaway and in a wide range of colors, finishes, and sizes.
  • New edition: Specially designed for singers and songwriters, the Mid-Depth/Non-Cutaway body offers comfortable playability.
  • K-21CT preamp: Provides clean fundamental sound, solid mids, and good tonal separation between strings.
  • OCP-2000 piezo-electric crystal: Improved construction material that reduces wear and allows better vibration transfer.
  • Acoustic sound: The A-quality spruce top features a special treatment that simulates approximately 25 years of aging, providing a balanced and mature sound.
