To be honest, I do not agree with the other reviews at all (besides the FM radio, that thing barely works ).
The bass is enough to feel it in the floor at only 20% volume, and the sound quality is great. The speakers are a bit lightweight, I can’t lie, but they still sound immaculate!!!
I bought it solely to play my CD collection, and as a first micro Hi-Fi system, I can’t really say how it compares since this is my first one. There are definitely better players in the same price range, though.
The only thing I will complain about is that when I first load a CD, it spins up and starts playing, but you can’t actually hear anything. You have to turn the volume up or down once, and then the audio starts working normally. After that, it works flawlessly, and you can raise or lower the volume as much as you want.
I listen to metal, stuff like Slipknot, Linkin Park, System Of A Down, My Chemical Romance, and Megadeth, and this player is great for this kind of taste!!!
But to be for real, always keep reviews in the back of your head. Reviews for sound systems and speakers will always be somewhat inaccurate because everyone has a different room, different setup, different music taste, and different expectations.
So if you want this player, I’d say buy it and give it a try. And if you don’t like it, just return it!!
And yes, I know my setup is horrible, but it’s temporary for now lolll
(And do rely much on the video i attached lol, my mic isnt really the best)
