We're talking about a beast in bass; it has 5 levels of bass, I play on level 1. Very good acoustics (effects, speech, music), max volume is 31 or 32 depending on what you play and from where you have it, and it delivers. With the JBL One app, you're hands-free since you can see how much battery your detachable speakers have. One good thing is that they charge with a type C cable, so where I have them, I've made sure there's a charger available. Even though they've played works and music continuously today, I charged them on the first day yesterday, and they are at 97%. It has a remote control, but when you connect the soundbar and TV behind it via e-arc, you get amazing results; the TV remote becomes one with the soundbar's remote. The sound presets aren't many, but they work; sometimes it switched to PCM, which didn't bother me. You'll rarely find a true Dolby file or DVD (for those who don't know, look it up; it doesn't bother me, but reviews from abroad have mentioned it to the company because it's an expensive product and it should support all old and new formats). I'm a holder of an old Logitech Z5500 model; those who know it... know the volume and bass here with the BAR 800 go higher, and after 20 years, while my Logitech still works, I can say I'm satisfied.
UPDATE 25/1/25: As for the detachable speakers, I see that in 6 hours they lose about 10% on standby (meaning off). When charging, it shows red, and when fully charged, it turns blue; see images. If you have radiators that you no longer use, it's the perfect height for shelves. I gave it an additional 20 cm, meaning a height from the floor of 1.30m, and they fit well together with the calibration it has; you won't worry at all.
NEGATIVES but not too noticeable:
1st, when the soundbar turns on, it says HELLO and then goes dark; I would like a light to indicate "look at me, I'm ON," haha.
2nd, the equalizer has only one from the app on the phone; I would like the usual presets plus to have 2-3 of my own.
3rd, it has one HDMI port on the back; in the year 2025, there are a lot of ports. Okay, I'll accept it because I'll put a splitter for PC and PS5, not that it's bad because I have an LG with 5 ports (1 e-arc) (1 2.1) and (3 regular HDMI). I've connected the monitor and the soundbar to the e-arc, and everything is fine (but not everyone has such luxuries; come on, JBL, give a few more HDMI ports, come on).
4th, a bit more battery for the rear speakers wouldn't be bad.
A BIG ADVANTAGE of JBL: register your product and get an additional year, meaning 3 years warranty with the receipt. If you can't, send them a message; that's what I did because the system was freezing. Don't pay any store extra money for an additional year; you get it with this process for free.
