Πρέπει να υπάρχει διαφορά θερμοκρασίας. Αν το δάπεδο είναι αρκετά ζεστό και οι σωλήνες κρύες, μπορεί και να τις δει. Αν έχουν ίδια θερμοκρασία ή παραπλήσια, σχεδόν αδύνατο.
