I bought it for a 34-month-old child, I don't think I would choose it for an infant under 6 months. I would go for something organic, without chemicals. But for the age my son is, it's perfect! I use it for everything: hands, face, hair, body, we parents also tried it for body and hair, we are all satisfied! It doesn't sting the eyes at all! The little one likes it! I would like the pump to dispense less quantity, as it dispenses enough for my adult hand, the hand of a pre-toddler overflows and that's where it loses a bit in product economy.
