It does not affect the screen's functionality. It is UV Liquid type, a relatively new kind of tempered glass consisting of an adhesive, which is evenly spread over the entire surface of the phone's screen, even its cracks, and a UV lamp that hardens this adhesive. The process takes more time than traditional protections and should be done according to the manufacturer's instructions for an ideal result.
