The board game Ark Nova is an economic and zoo-management game for 1–4 players aged 14 and up. Players design a modern zoo, build enclosures, house animals, and support conservation programs around the world.
Each player uses five action cards, whose strength depends on their position. Users consider Ark Nova excellent, especially praising its engaging theme and wide variety of cards, which make every game different. They also highlight the beautiful cards and high-quality, practical components, and particularly enjoy it as a solo game or with two players. However, the rules are fairly complex at first, and games with more players take longer.
One of the best board games on the market! Every game is different and it can also introduce a relatively beginner to the hobby into more complex paths of board gaming.
Nice and fitting theme with the gameplay, I would just like the price to be a bit lower for what the core box offers, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth it as a game. Buy it without fear!
Thanks also to "No label X" where I bought it from for their consistently good offers and low prices!
My favorite board game! Fantastic game with an amazing theme/storyline! The scoring system with the opposite direction of your pawns is truly innovative. The rules are quite complex, if someone who knows it doesn't explain it to you, you will need to watch videos on YouTube to fully understand it. Once you learn it though, you realize its simplicity and magic. Very beautiful animal cards as they have real photos and not cartoons. The compartments for the common components are very convenient. Definitely a 10 out of 10!
Very interesting and impressive game. The materials it is made of are very good and the creator seems to be knowledgeable about good board games. It even provides compartments for cards and components within the game.
Excellent as a solo and for 2 players. It takes a long time for more players. Great variety due to the many cards and nice illustrations. One of the best games in recent years.
You need to play a few rounds to understand it as it has many rules at the same time and then it becomes very enjoyable!!!
