However, he belonged to no religion, cult, or country. Nor did he endorse any school of political or ideological thought. Instead, Krishnamurti argued that these are the factors that divide people and bring conflict and war – an approach that makes his teachings particularly appealing in today's world.

The "Flight of the Eagle" is considered one of Krishnamurti's central works, as it deals with themes such as freedom, change, peace, violence, and – ultimately – the transcendent and the unknown.
