Our publishing house releases the book by the special educator George Kolovos, which presents the method "KOLOVOS". The method is a comprehensive teaching package aimed at supporting the development of reading skills in every preschool and early school-age child, particularly those at risk of developing learning and other academic difficulties.
On the other hand, it serves as an educational intervention for the improvement and rehabilitation of reading difficulties. The effectiveness of the method has been substantiated by a large number of research findings for the Greek language.
The "Kolovos" method has also formed the basis for training programs for educators, special educators, psychologists, and speech therapists developed by the Lifelong Learning Center of the University of Thessaly.
The great acceptance of this method at scientific and educational levels as effective, valid, and reliable has led to its adaptation in other linguistic systems, primarily those with a phonological structure similar to the Greek language. The development of the "Kolovos" method for the Russian, Portuguese, and Italian languages has already been completed, and its adaptation to the Spanish language is currently underway.
