The A 122 is designed as a universal 12" 2-way system and can be used as a full-range cabinet or with passive subwoofers (e.g., A 151 from the ACUS series). A DYNACORD LFT 2008 12" speaker operates in the low/mid frequency range between 65 Hz and 5 kHz. The high frequency above 5 kHz is emitted by a three-range ferro-electric tweeter with a polycarbonate diaphragm - type Dynacord HFT 1008. The A 122 is equipped with a passive crossover. The A 122 cabinet is made from high-density 16 mm chip-board. All corner joints and reinforcements are grooved and glued. The surface of the cabinet is finished with highly durable black-marble crushed fabric. A coated steel grille protects the front of the speaker. The recessed connection plate of the A 122 features 2 Speakon Input/Output connections (1+: Cabinet +/1-: Cabinet -) for secure connection and easy chaining to the next speaker. The handle on the side ensures easy and secure transport. 4 large rubber connectors and a speaker support barrel at the bottom allow for various setups.
