Description

Description

The Custom 24 is the quintessential guitar from PRS, the iconic guitar that started it all in 1985. The Custom 24-08 retains all the foundational specifications while driving the Custom platform to new sonic territories.

Like the instrument from the Core Series, the SE Custom 24-08 features two mini-toggle coil tap switches that split the humbuckers into true single coils for a total of eight pickup configurations.

Its classic design includes a maple top, mahogany back, rosewood fretboard, bird inlays, signature logo on the headstock, and PRS's patented tremolo.

Neck construction from Maple wood

The Maple wood on the neck is an important element for the guitar's acoustics, as it produces a bright and precise tone resulting from the wood's hardness.

Body construction from durable Mahogany

The mahogany wood it features offers a rich, warm, and deep sound, with strong bass and good mid and high trebles, and is suitable for many music styles, such as rock, blues, jazz, and heavy metal.

HH pickup configuration (Humbucker-Humbucker)

This layout includes two humbucker pickups, which are positioned at the central pickup and bridge pickup locations of the guitar.

The Humbucker pickups offer better response to low frequencies and bass sound, as well as greater resistance to noise. This makes the guitar suitable for powerful riffs and solos.

Equipped with passive pickups, which do not require external power to operate. Specifically, the passive pickups work using magnetism and produce a signal that is inversely proportional to the movement of the strings.

Very good guitar, careful setup without fret buzz and very good tremolo. The sound was very good even after you split the coils.
