With this book and its publication, I aimed to participate, as much as I could, in the interesting reception that the newer generations of our intellectuals have for what bears the stamp of the thought of the German philosopher and for what expresses it originally.
From my own perspective: I believe that we must understand Heidegger's work, beyond its allure, in its active dimension, intertwined not only with the interwar anxiety of Europe that nurtured the nightmares of nationalism and communist totalitarianism but also with the post-war postmodernism, whose historical end seems to be signed by today's "economic" crisis along with its accompanying issues.
