Description

Description

The G12 GM series is available in standard ATX size and in power ratings that are the most common for a PC system. The Seasonic G12 GM series meets the 80 PLUS® Gold standard, providing at least 87%, 90%, and 87% energy efficiency at 20%, 50%, and 100% operating loads respectively.

This efficiency, combined with active power factor correction, allows the G12 GM series power supplies to reduce energy waste, resulting in energy cost savings for users.

Additionally, the G12 GM units use LLC resonant converter design and the industry-leading Smart and Silent Fan Control (S2FC) system for optimal performance and quiet operation.

I got the G12 GM 750W - we'll see over time how it performs, but first impressions are good. For Semi Modular, I would prefer it to have a fixed MB (24/20 pins), CPU (8/4 pins), PCIe (8/6 pins), and one SATA - a total of 4, which covers 90% of needs! Instead of having MB (24/20 pins), 2xCPU (8/4 pins), and 2xPCIe (8/6 pins), that is 5 cables in total! (minus one star)...

The Seasonic G12 GM 750W offers excellent performance and is very quiet, even under load.

However, the build quality may not be as high as it used to be, using Chinese capacitors and a fan with outdated bearings.
    Conclusion:

The Seasonic G12 GM 750W is a reliable choice for users looking for a power supply with high performance and flexible cable management. However, it is important to consider the observations regarding build quality and compare with other options on the market.

It was combined in a build with rx 7600xt and ryzen 5 7500f, and you can see the results here ↓
