The Carbon Dome tweeter of the 705 S3 (carbon tweeter dome) is housed in a separate elongated sub-cabinet with the Tweeter-on-Top. This complements the speaker's new and subtly curved front baffle, which is adorned with metal decorative rings around the Continuum cone of the midrange.

The new, more elongated form incorporates a longer tube loading system that reduces distortions and delivers cleaner high-frequency sound.
