Starting off, I want to clarify that we are talking about hi-fi speakers and not hi-end. Therefore, any comparison with floorstanding speakers of this price is inherently invalid. We are discussing a set of speakers that initially win you over aesthetically. The fact that you don't have to deal with amplifiers and cables in your space is very positive. Now, regarding the sound: I use them exclusively with a Wiim Mini streaming Tidal. Their clarity and imaging are quite good. The sound is relatively full up to 3/4 of the volume (at high volume, the low frequencies "thin out"). Excellent pre-amplification through which I have connected a sub, making the system 2.1. The one star deduction is due to the fact that the toslink connection cannot handle a high data flow (update 01/05/25: the problem arose from the connection cable. The speakers are supposed to work according to the manual at 24/48, but I use them in permanent and problem-free operation at 24/96!) - I exclusively use the RCA in, which is just fine. Finally, the fact that at this price point it has HDMI ARC and a phono stage is a real bargain! Another big positive is that their representation in Greece is handled by one of the most serious companies in the field.
