An event for all Hergé fans: Tintin et l'Alphart is added to the classic collection of The Adventures of Tintin. In 1999, Tintin au pays des Soviets, the first Tintin, caused a stir as it joined the classic collection of The Adventures of Tintin, with nearly 600,000 copies sold within a few months.

In January 2004, to mark the 75th anniversary of the little reporter, another album completes the legend. Tintin et l'Alphart, the incomplete album, is finally included with the other 23 Adventures of Tintin. It will be available with the same pagination and at the same price as the other volumes in the collection.

In the months following Hergé's death on March 3, 1983, there were many speculations: many readers dreamed that the master's collaborators would finish this story. However, Hergé's wish was clear: no new Tintin after him.
