Purchased exclusively for the Ethernet port and for use on an HP laptop that does not have its own, but it does not work properly (on a 50Mbps line with Wi-Fi disabled, it performs like an elevator with a maximum speed of 20-25Mbps). It works fine on another laptop (Lenovo) that was tested. Router malfunction/provider issue have been examined and ruled out. There may be compatibility issues with this specific laptop. Before purchasing, make sure to check the compatibility of the USB-C port with your computer manufacturer.
