The kalimba, also known as the thumb piano, is a unique musical instrument that originates from Africa. Its distinctive sound is produced when the thumbs strike the steel tines.

The HOKEMA B15 kalimba is carefully made from solid American cherry wood. The surfaces have been treated and polished with natural oils and waxes. The 15 tines are precisely tuned to the G major scale, allowing for the playback of a variety of songs.

The B15 kalimba is equally suitable for improvisation and intuitive playing as well as for accompanying melodies.
