Description

Description

The LT18 by Cudy is a router that allows the connection of other devices, such as computers, mobiles, and televisions, either wirelessly or via cable, sharing internet access. It requires a connection to a modem for internet access.

It connects to the 4G network, offering significantly higher speeds than 3G, provided there is corresponding coverage from the mobile network in the area. It is Wi-Fi 6 generation, the most modern standard, offering speeds up to 40% higher than Wi-Fi 5.

It optimizes communication with connected devices for optimal battery consumption and works better in environments with many Wi-Fi devices. It is ideal for homes with many smart devices.

It broadcasts signal on two frequencies:

  • 2.4GHz: The most widespread, with a long range.
  • 5GHz: Provides higher speed than 2.4GHz but is more sensitive to obstacles that reduce its range.

The device has VPN (Virtual Private Network) configuration capability, allowing traffic from all devices to pass through it. The VPN acts as an intermediary between us and the internet, providing anonymity and access to geographically restricted content.

Dual SIM slots

The dual SIM slots provide backup and keep the device always connected to the internet.

Spare and detachable antennas

WAN/WISP/Cellular1/Cellular2 provide you with triple redundancy for a reliable network. To improve signal quality, you can replace the mobile antennas with extension antennas.

Advanced DNS Security

Encrypt your web browsing search with reliable partners, preventing eavesdropping and manipulation of DNS data through a man-in-the-middle attack.

Band Lock

The 4G/5G band lock allows locking the 4G operating frequency to one or more bands to maintain operational stability.

Coming from a Cosmote TP-Link 4G which, where I am outside a residential area, gave us a max of 10mbps and 1 upload, and every two days needed a restart. The Cudy, in exactly the same spot, gives 70mbps and 8 upload! No disconnections. Absolutely satisfied. The wifi has crazy coverage, 50 meters. We removed all the extenders. Serious router. Worth it!

Excellent, finally I saw speed and stability. My phone does not disconnect (I assume it's due to the new wifi protocol) and I see double the speed in measurements, compared to 2 other routers I had. First day, excellent impressions, I hope it stays this way! I use it with a NOVA sim, as it is the only provider here where I live that gets satisfactory signal/speed. No configuration was even needed, I inserted the nano sim, plugged it in and everything was perfect

  • Fantastic router, I am absolutely satisfied with the signal reception, the stability it provides, as well as the Wi-Fi inside the house; a repeater is not needed. Many options for configuration as well as band locking for higher speeds. No disconnections and very good speeds on 4G & 4G+. I had tried a D-LINK which had nothing to do with the speeds and connection stability of this one. It is also Wi-Fi 6 for those who know, and it has 2 SIM card slots for switching SIM cards depending on the data packages we want or the provider.

I highly recommend it; it is worth the money.
