Description & Specifications

In this work, we used the text of the New Testament found in the fourth edition of the Apostolic Ministry (Athens 1977) with the necessary changes at the beginning of the passages, so that they align with the liturgical text.

The translation of the Gospel passages is from the aforementioned edition of the New Testament. We actually retained its linguistic style, because despite its ancient appearance, it is understood by most Christians.

In the patristic texts, we compiled excerpts and phrases from the sermons of the Holy Fathers, which is why we named them Patristic interpretative thoughts. We tried to make them as understandable as possible and to present complete meanings.

For this reason, where we deemed it necessary, we added some words, which in most cases we placed in parentheses, to facilitate either the flow of the text or the understanding of the meanings.
