I bought it before Christmas holidays in Germany and surrounding countries. I didn't have anything similar, only a few minutes of bomber, a heavy wool coat, and also a heavy parka that makes you sweat even at -20 degrees. So I chose it as something in between and it didn't disappoint me at all. It is perhaps the best jacket I have ever bought. It is fully lined, keeps you warm in temperatures below 0 degrees (I would say from -5 to 10 depending on the climate and what you wear inside, such as thermal clothing, etc.), and it is waterproof and windproof. The two side pockets with zippers don't get wet at all, even in the washing machine, so if you want to wash the pockets, leave them open. In terms of size, I usually wear XL, but I got XXL due to the extra weight from Covid that I haven't lost yet, and it fits me very well. Surprisingly, it's not too big on the shoulders, almost normal but with a little bit of comfort, and in general, it's good for jackets to have some extra space in case you wear a thick sweater, etc.

The jacket is incredible, a classic good Emerson.

• The construction quality is excellent. For the 72 euros I bought it, I don't think you can find a jacket with better materials.

• Extremely waterproof. I use my bike daily to go to work, and it's a 10-minute ride. I've had the jacket for a month now, and it has been caught in heavy rain 6-7 times while I'm on the bike. The jacket doesn't get wet. It keeps the rain out to the point where you can simply brush off the droplets that stay on the surface. It hasn't been tested for more than 15 minutes, but I will update if I try it.

• Incredibly warm. It doesn't have fleece or fur inside. When I first saw this, I was a bit worried because I thought it wouldn't keep me warm. However, when I wore it with a sweatshirt and a thin shirt inside at -2°C, I felt like it was autumn outside. It creates air pockets that heat up and insulate you from the cold. However, I wouldn't recommend trying it for temperatures below -8°C.

Observations:
• All jackets, even the most expensive ones on the market, use various coating materials to achieve waterproofing. The fabric itself is rarely completely waterproof, and such fabrics 1) don't allow sweat to escape from your body, so if you sweat, you will eventually feel cold, and 2) are found in very expensive jackets, €250 and above. This coating gradually wears off over time and with natural wear and tear (sun, water, simple friction with other objects), resulting in reduced waterproofing of the jacket. Speaking from experience, I believe the time it takes for this to happen is quite long, provided that you wash it regularly (four times a year), don't store it where it's exposed to sunlight, and try not to rub it against surfaces with force.

• The sleeves are a bit long and reach down to the fingers, so you have to gather them up to the wrist if you want to do anything with your hands. This process may bother some people, but I consider it a big positive because, as a person with Raynaud's syndrome, where blood circulation to the extremities is poor in the cold, I can keep my hands warm throughout the day. It doesn't replace gloves, but it definitely provides an alternative in case I can't wear gloves.

• I am 1.75 meters tall and weigh 68 kilograms, and the Large size is perfect for me. Initially, I was considering XXL because I like to wear loose-fitting clothes and be comfortable, but I think the L is exactly what I needed. Perfect proportions for chest and height, and wide enough to wear a sweatshirt underneath and feel comfortable and nice.

I highly recommend it for any type of weather in the city, and it performs very well in the snow within reasonable temperatures
