The reason someone chooses this or the Samsung 990 Pro is also reliability beyond speed, which is not specific (and how many read/writes it will withstand before it dies). Of course, for greater reliability, you go for Intel Optane DC P5800X or Samsung PM1743

My computer was shutting down because the m2 I had placed above the graphics card was overheating and absorbing all the heat from the GPU. My motherboard had a heatsink, but due to the build I did, I had to remove it. With this heatsink, the temperatures are within normal ranges.

I bought this product a few days ago to expand the storage space on my PS5 because the 650GB it has is not enough, so installing extra space was a must.
The installation was very easy, but just to be safe, I watched a video on YouTube to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. It was actually more difficult to remove the plastic casing of the console than to attach the SSD.
I noticed that it doesn't come with a metal heatsink, although some say that the stickers it has on both sides serve as a heatsink due to the material they are made of.
In any case, it works perfectly fine with speeds of just under 7000MB/sec, but that is the least of my concerns. Transferring games took only a few minutes, and we're talking about large games that take up a lot of space.
However, be careful for those looking for an SSD for the PS5, not all are compatible. They must have certification for use with the PS5, and this one has it.

The disk was purchased and connected to a PS5 console.

As games like 2K 24 come out, which require 156GB of storage space, expanding the disk was a one-way street for me (I deal with gaming reviews on a professional level).

For a typical user, the purchase may be unnecessary. You keep installed the games that interest you and delete those that you don't play.

The disk is PS5 verified, so I want to believe that it will withstand the test of time and deliver the promised speeds throughout its use. So far, I haven't encountered any issues with it. If anything changes, I will come back with an update on the matter.

My computer was shutting down because the m2 I had placed above the graphics card was overheating and absorbing all the heat from the GPU. My motherboard had a heatsink, but due to the build I did, I had to remove it. With this heatsink, the temperatures are within normal ranges.

It was easily installed on the PS5. There is no difference from the console's original disk. The games run smoothly.

Used as a space extension for ps5. It is quite fast and the actual speed is close to what the company claims.

This is the basic version without a heatsink/cooling fan. It wrote for fun almost 7000....on a PS5 Slim.

Excellent! Very fast and with the heatsink (in a well-ventilated case) it doesn't go above 37°C. Luckily I got it before the price got away from me..

The reason someone chooses this or the Samsung 990 Pro is also reliability beyond speed, which is not specific (and how many read/writes it will withstand before it dies). Of course, for greater reliability, you go for Intel Optane DC P5800X or Samsung PM1743

Let me inform you that with almost no m.2 will you get the exact write speed or however you want to call it. I suggest you search the internet for the real speed supported by each product.
