Mercola Teak Oil Renovator wood maintenance oil penetrates the pores of the wood and enhances its grain without forming a film. It is used to maintain and renew faded wooden surfaces, as well as to finish new constructions. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and can be applied to garden furniture, pergolas, fences, wooden floors, decks, and boat structures.
Coverage is approximately 12–16 m²/L per coat. New surfaces require two coats, with a minimum of 8 hours between coats. Very dry or weathered wood may require 3–4 coats. The surface must be dry and clean before application, and old varnish coatings must be removed. Application to varnished surfaces is not recommended unless a suitability test has been carried out first.
