Because it is single-walled and a lightweight "thermos", it is not suitable for hot drinks because your hand burns as soon as you grab the "thermos". For lukewarm/cold drinks, it's so-so because it doesn't keep the temperature for long in the summer; for autumn and later, it's fine.
