This particular head requires a little work, e.g. preparing several pieces of trimmer line for replacements, unscrewing and screwing to remove the old pieces and install the new ones, but it rewards you with flawless cutting and the long lifespan of the trimmer line, as long as the appropriate type is chosen (e.g. square 4mm, two pieces)

    The automatic head that the trimmer had, was getting on my nerves as I had to stop every so often. I got this one and I was saved! The trimmer line wears out progressively from the edges, and does not break at the base like it used to with the automatic one. That's why (and because it's double) the changes are less frequent and material consumption is much lower than before. Changing the trimmer line is a breeze. You just loosen and tighten the Allen bolt over and over again. Additionally, it is lighter than the automatic one and so simple that there is nothing to break. It probably will never break. *The trimmer line pieces in the package are very short and low quality. I put my own trimmer line with a length up to the cutter of the guard.
