The classic immortal solution from Casio. It can withstand anything, you wear it in any condition and you forget about it for 10 or more years!

I delayed the review to the point that I forgot about it.
Purchased on 20/4/23 and since then until today (23/07/2025) when I am writing the review, it has been over 2 years of daily use, walks, work, getaways, hikes, swimming in the sea, sometimes I even wear it in the shower. Apart from a small bump-scratch on the side, the watch is very beautiful and reliable.

This particular watch is the cheapest in its category (g-shock). It is functional, durable over time and resistant to wear. Its disadvantage for me (not for my children) is the small buttons.

I am absolutely satisfied! A watch for every occasion, whether in the workplace or for everyday use!

After a year and a half of daily "use" and exposure to anything, it hasn't suffered the slightest damage!

War dog. Light in hand, you forget it exists. Bought for 45 euros five years ago. The battery is still alive. Classic look of the first G-Shock from Casio, but now with an illuminator and not the small light. Timeless and beautiful. Highly functional without much fuss. I've dropped it, hit it, scratched it on walls, etc. It hasn't suffered the slightest damage. Countless swims in the summers, it doesn't mind. The strap still holds up well. After swimming in the sea, just remember to rinse it with fresh water to remove the salt. Once a month wash with hand soap to keep it clean and beautiful.

The ultimate digital watch that has stood the test of time with its value. I bought it for €50 and I am absolutely satisfied! It is simply wonderful! I love it!

1 Week: smaller than expected, very lightweight, the construction materials seem to be of good quality. The top left button is quite difficult to press. Maybe I'll trim the plastic around it like others have done.

I had bought it 35 years ago for spearfishing and the battery didn't have any issues. It lasted 25 years. If you want to believe it, someone from the group tried to replace it with his own. We had bought it together. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the rubber bracelets. They dry out from the saltwater and need frequent washing and application of silicone grease. I didn't lubricate it and it broke completely

What can one say about the first CASIO G-SHOCK? It is now a historical and foundational cornerstone of the G-SHOCK series, maintaining the timelessness of a series of exceptionally durable watches and a symbol of reliability.

The classic first G-Shock by Casio. Anyone who has a fetish for watches, especially Casio, should not be without it in their collection. I have fallen in love with this, along with the databank feature!

I won't bore you. The watch is solid. It can be worn everywhere and always, except if you're dressing up as a groom. At 50€, there is no competition.

The watch is great, I have had it for 2 months and it has taken many hits due to work and it doesn't have any scratches on the protective cover. It would be nice if it had a glass like mobile phones for the screen because it got a small mark somewhere but it disappeared inside the glass...
In the end, I like the simplicity because it reminds me of the first Casio watches I had 30 years ago in school, of course not with 200 meters haha

What can you say about this journey of a lifetime with it; it all started with this model back in the 80s when Casio models were made in Japan, now they are made in China or Thailand. A watch approved even by NASA SPACE that you buy for a lifetime, the king of Casio G-Shock that will never betray you anywhere... I have had it for 15 years continuously on my wrist, I changed the strap and the top case for 25 euros at the Casio dealership and it became like new again. Honestly, I don't know for how many more years I will have it, G-Shock watches for a lifetime, period........

It accompanies you everywhere.. diving, parachuting, mountains, boats, work, daily at the gym.. we're not talking about durability, those who know about G-Shock understand.. and most importantly, it takes you through time and brings back memories of life moments!! Even if it's not the solar version at 50 euros, there is no other choice for those who appreciate the all-time classic!

The only watch someone needs.. The whole history of G-Shock on your wrist. Being the owner of many G-Shock Citizen watches, etc.. this little watch simply mesmerizes with its history and simplicity.

What can I say about this watch. It has so many reviews that I have nothing to add. I simply have 30 watches in my collection, of all types, but since I bought this one a year ago, it has never left my wrist. I forgot about all the others in the drawer.... A watch for a lifetime, immortal.

Very beautiful and reliable, worth every penny and more. Bought as a gift and it is exactly what I expected. G-Shock is a solid value. Satisfied with the product.

G-shock with 50 euros, you can boil it in a pot, NASA certification, the bracelet attaches very securely to the body, etc., meaning durability far beyond necessary.

Two things that bother me:
1. The buttons are designed not to protrude too much. Especially the top left one, which is used more frequently to reset counters, for example at the gym, is very recessed and requires nail strength to press.
2. The bracelet is relatively short. I have a 19cm wrist and I put the bracelet on the second notch so that it doesn't squeeze me too much. Unfortunately, there is not much excess from the bracelet and the edge remains exposed. Occasionally, the edge catches on various objects and the watch comes off the wrist. People with thinner wrists won't have such a problem.

Simple, lightweight, convenient, ideal for average/slim wrists, for everyday use. It is more beautiful than in the photos. As for accuracy, durability, and reliability, there is no need to even discuss it.

I bought it today. It looks very nice in the hand, durable and sturdy. Time will of course show how good it is, so I will come back after some time..

Truly immortal watch!!

My father has had it since 1987-88 if I remember correctly. The difference is that it has a side ignition light. With this, it passed the military exams. It has gone through exercises, has descended countless times below 50m, has fallen just as many times from thousands of feet in height. We, as children, used to play with this watch because it was "dad's". It still works. Only the metal remains since over the years and the wear and tear, the plastic case said goodbye.

After 3 years, I have to say the following: It doesn't understand anything about falls or impacts, the glass is scratch-free since it is well protected by plastic, it has accuracy in time and the time is clearly visible day and night, aesthetically very nice and easy to use, the straps are of very good quality and have shown no signs of wear so far. At 50 euros, for anyone looking for a watch to wear all day, every day, wherever they go and whatever they do, the choice is clearly this one. Don't search in vain for anything else.
