The MONTVAL® paper was designed by the painter Gaspard Maillol, nephew of the sculptor Aristide Maillol, and was manufactured by CANSON® in the early 20th century. Since then, the material has evolved significantly.
It is ACID-FREE, with excellent longevity and a special anti-"mold" treatment without bleaching chemicals, making it one of the best quality materials for "Wet" techniques for students of "Fine Arts". It is very easy to use and correct, as it can be washed even with a wet brush.
The material is available with:
- Medium texture (Cold Pressed)
- Snowy grain texture
MONTVAL® is suitable for all "Wet" techniques such as Watercolors, Tempera, and Acrylic.
