The 5W solar charger is used to compensate for the gaps created by natural discharge in 12V batteries. The time it takes to cover the losses of a battery depends on its capacity. The larger the capacity, the more time is required to recharge.
The solar charger comes with a 5A controller to protect the batteries from overcharging.
It also comes with a 4-meter cable for connection to the controller and an additional 1-meter cable with crocodile clips for connection to the battery terminals.
The use of the solar charger is simple because the system is pre-connected: First, connect the crocodile clips to the corresponding battery terminals. Then place the photovoltaic panel in a position where it is exposed to the sun's rays as vertically as possible – if there are no obstacles, it should face south with an inclination of 35-40 degrees from the horizontal level.
