I bought the gray tube even though it looks the same, I don't know if they just changed the packaging. I sealed a leak in a vertical apartment building drain that had a small break and poor fit. It is thick and chewy and is not affected by water. That is, if you pour water on it, it does not thin out. I filled the gap like putty, spread a sufficient amount to reach a dry point around the break to find adhesion and stick, and for now, it is not leaking. Of course, it is not normally recommended for this. I will come back if there is a leak or if it behaves "rudely" in temperatures and sunlight in the future. For now, it seems like a very good product.
