Rolling Code rolling code encoding method. The coded transmitted signal of the remote control changes every time the remote is pressed and consists of 3 different parts:
- Remote control code. Unique for each remote control (among 1 billion codes).
- Client code. Each company uses its own code here (chip factory code).
- Button pressed on the remote control. This is also transmitted as part of the transmitted code.
Counter. Each time a button on the remote control is pressed, the counter increases by one unit. The maximum count is the number 65,000 (except in special cases). Calculate that if you press it 10 times a day, its lifespan is 17 years.
The emitted rolling code encoded signal consists of 32 to 48 characters depending on each manufacturer and the method they follow. There is no DIP switch in the remote control, so we open it only to change the battery.
