The house's history began in 1923 when Pierre Andre, a wine merchant from Paris, purchased the Château d'Aloxe-Corton and started producing exceptional wines from Burgundy. The Pierre Andre House showcases an outstanding winemaking effort from the Macon Villages.
These are white wines originating from 26 communities in the Maconnais region, considered superior in quality to the basic Macon wines of southern Burgundy. The Macon Villages are located in the southern part of Burgundy, near the Beaujolais region.
The Vaucharmes offers a refined taste and aromatic profile, with very light mineral notes, providing an excellent Chardonnay.
