Classic Pressfield, a very nice book worthy of the author's name. Personally, I have read all of Pressfield's books, so with this particular one, it started off very strong, keeping expectations high, but as I approached the middle of the book, my initially very positive impression began to moderate. However, as it turned out, the author worked his magic once again; the last part of the book is a firework of action and emotion! I highly recommend it!
Κλασσικός Πρεσφιλντ, ένα πολύ ωραίο βιβλίο αντάξιο του ονόματος του συγγραφέα. Προσωπικά έχω διαβάσει όλα τα βιβλία του Πρεσφιλντ, για το συγκεκριμένο λοιπόν αρχικά ξεκίνησε πολύ δυνατά κρατώντας τις προσδοκίες ψηλά, πλησιάζοντας προς τη μέση του βιβλίου η αρχική μου πολύ θετική εντύπωση άρχισε να μετριάζεται. Όμως όπως αποδείχθηκε ο συγγραφέας έκανε και πάλι το θαύμα του, το βιβλίο στο τελευταίο του μέρος είναι ένα πυροτέχνημα δράσης και συναισθημάτων! Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!
I have no words... Simply captivating... It has suspense throughout, along with amazing historical descriptions of the period it covers, keeping the interest undiminished and connecting them excellently with the plot... Very nice writing, a classic value of Mr. Pressfield... One of the best books I have ever read...
Δεν έχω λόγια..Απλά καθηλωτικο...Έχει σασπένς και όλη τη διάρκεια μαζί με τρομερες ιστορικές περιγραφές για τη περιοδο που καλύπτει, κρατώντας αμείωτο το ενδιαφέρον και συνδέοντας τες εξαιρετικά με τη πλοκή..Πολύ ωραία γραφή, κλασσική αξία του κυρίου Πρεσφιλντ..Από τα ωραιότερα βιβλία που έχω διαβάσει..
