Performance: BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure higher airflow than original paper filters. BMC fiberglass filters minimize air flow pressure loss through the filter, ensuring the best conditions for fully exploiting maximum power.
Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers, using advanced software and the latest technologies, produce BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very lightweight, made from the best raw materials, and enhance performance. Only woven alloys with an epoxy coating are used to ensure protection against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to air humidity. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil for the best possible air permeability.
Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a specific production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the familiar red BMC filters. They are made in a single piece without welded joints at the corners, thus avoiding the risks of breakage. This system, known as "Full Molding," originates from R&D in F1 and is crucial for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
