The Yato YT-29220 thread is intended for use in installations with a maximum pressure of up to 15 bar and an operating temperature ranging from -20° C to 130° C.
Made of very durable polyamide fibers, making it tear-resistant.
Unlike Teflon tapes, the use of threads allows for joint correction up to 45°, significantly facilitating assembly and reducing costs.
Impregnated with special silicone grease, which ensures very good sealing properties and does not harden.
Thanks to this, unscrewing the launch nut is very easy, even after many years.
The handy tube on the cap has a double-sided cutting knife that allows you to easily and quickly cut the thread to the desired length.
The 50-meter-long YATO thread is very efficient and allows sealing of up to 110 joints with a diameter of 1/2".
The attached table shows the recommended number of coils for each pipe diameter.
