Epolux 120 Epoxy Pool Paint Solvent from Tetralux

Two-component solvent-based epoxy paint for pools, ready to mix. It features high hardness and abrasion resistance.

Excellent resistance to seawater, acids, alkalis, aliphatic hydrocarbons, crude oil, and petroleum fractions. It is specifically designed as a topcoat for pool painting.

• Available in 3 and 15-liter containers.
• Can be diluted by 5-10% with Tetralux solvent 810 for epoxies.
• Application using a paintbrush, paint roller, or spray gun.
• Covers 5-7 square meters per liter depending on the application method.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Shake well before use.
• EPOLUX 120 contains solvents.
• Special care for proper ventilation is required during application in enclosed spaces.
• Component B is fully added into component A and mixed for at least 5 minutes until the mixture is completely homogenous.
• It should be applied with a brush, roller, or spray gun within 24 hours after the primer has dried.
• The second layer is applied after the first has dried, but within 24 hours.
• The adhesion between layers may be affected by the presence of moisture or contaminants.
• The application temperature should not be below 10ºC, and humidity should not exceed 75%RH.
• After application, surfaces must be protected from moisture for 6-8 hours.
• After it has fully cured, EPOLUX 120 is safe for health.

Surface Preparation

• The quality of the concrete should be at least C20/25, with a cement content of 350kg/m³, moisture <4%.
• Application should take place at least 30 days after the surface has been constructed.
• Priming is done with the special epoxy primer EPOLUX 125 CLEARPRIMER from TETRALUX diluted by 10-15% or with EPOLUX 120 itself diluted by 40-60% with TETRALUX solvent No. 810.
