Lavender oil relieves sunburns. 

It is used as a sunscreen and is highly effective when used in massage for: sore muscles, temples, neck. With a massage before sleep, it is calming and relaxing. Three to four drops in a beverage fights headaches, migraines, and nervousness (depression).

Lavender oil is used either alone or in combination with other carrier oils for even better results. Finally, it is important to know that carrier oils are necessary in aromatherapy in order to serve as the "carrier" to which the essential oils will be added.
