If you don't have someone at home with tools always available to constantly fix the handle for you, it's better not to buy it. As another user mentioned, the cookware can become extremely dangerous. Indeed, there are no instructions for assembly, which is much more difficult than it seems. Due to poor design, there are extra pieces created than what the mechanism should have, with poor or zero lock in place, which need to be assembled simultaneously in the correct position while someone holds the grill upright as you screw it in.

For your safety, make sure the handle mechanism is secure before cooking, and remove the handle. If you need to move the cookware after cooking before it cools, put the handle back on and do it carefully. When the cookware cools down, it becomes more dangerous due to temperature changes. Remove the handle in order to wash the cookware, otherwise it will fall on dishes that will break or it will fall from a height, resulting in aluminum damage.

The reason I bought it was to cook 30% faster while consuming one-tenth of the energy that the oven consumes, with easy cleaning. I achieve these because the cookware is for induction stoves, made of aluminum (except for the iron inductive bottom) which heats up quickly requiring minimal energy, while the transparent lid was a necessary condition for monitoring the food and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, along with the extra energy savings it offers.

I confirm what skroutz writes on all pages about aluminum cookware with non-stick coating in the product description: "To maintain the non-stick coating it has, we advise you to let the cookware cool down before cleaning it and avoid using wire scrubbers. Prefer a soft, synthetic sponge." So, by cooking at low intensity, the food does not stick and once the cookware cools down, it cleans easily with a soft sponge. Some users write that their food sticks because they cook at such intensity that they can't even touch the lid. Advice: if your food sticks, use a "Plastic Dish Brush with Handle" (available on skroutz for 0.50€) or something similar.

This product is tailor-made for me. The same does not apply to the rest of the world. Although for me it should receive 5 stars, for the rest of the world it may be dangerous, and I cannot recommend it to anyone with a clear conscience, hence my negative review.

    Non-inductive center: 6cm

    Lid frame size: 28x28cm

The most important problem for me was the...assembled handle (without any instructions and with a completely unorthodox way of assembly) that already came off once (fortunately the pan was not hot). Positive the existence of a lid (which not all grills have) but I would not buy it again (imagine the handle coming off while you have just taken the pan off the fire!)

Seeing all the positive comments and no one having anything negative to say, I ordered this specific grill pan. Three stars, however, because firstly, the 28cm it claims is the external dimension and not where the food sits (unlike other grill pans that have a 28x28 available surface for the food). The actual surface for the food is 20x18! Only enough for two steaks. And secondly, it doesn't clean as easily as they say. I initially tried with a soft sponge, nothing, then I left it with water, nothing, then I boiled water and soaked it, still nothing. Eventually, to clean it as best as I could (after leaving it with water all night), I had to scrape off the burnt bits with a toothpick, and still not everything came off, there are some small leftover pieces. In terms of cooking, yes, it is very good and the food indeed doesn't stick at all (I have tried meat and grilled vegetables).
