Before installing any filter, a pressure reducer is recommended. During installation, use only Teflon tape where necessary.
When changing the filter cartridge, clean the glass gasket, wipe it dry, apply lubricant (lubrikit), and reassemble. When the gasket wears out, it needs to be replaced.
