The La Brea set is a vintage spec Telecaster set designed in collaboration with Brad Paisley. It features smooth alnico II in the neck position and focused alnico IV for the bridge, perfect for achieving Brad's signature "bite" and twang.
The bridge model has an alnico IV magnet rod, vintage cloth backwire from Brad's era, a vintage output of 7.44k, and a classic flat appearance, offering wonderful quality as required from a vintage pickup but with focused midrange frequencies that only an alnico IV pickup can provide.
The neck model features an alnico II magnet rod, with an output of 7.55k, and the same correct backwire as the bridge, while also having a flat surface to provide a smooth, thick tone.
Both pickups combined deliver the snap and twang for which Brad is known, with "round" highs and full yet tight lows.
