Performance: BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure a higher airflow compared to original paper filters. BMC fiberglass filters minimize airflow pressure loss, ensuring optimal conditions for fully utilizing maximum power. Therefore, the benefits of replacing the original paper filter with the BMC fiberglass air filter are evident.
Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers use advanced software and technologies to produce the BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very lightweight and made from the finest raw materials. For this reason, only woven alloys with an epoxy coating are used to protect against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to moisture in the air. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil for the best possible air permeability.
Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the red BMC filters. They are manufactured as a single piece without welded joints, thus avoiding the risks of breakage. This system, known as "Full Molding," originates from R&D in F1 and is crucial for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
