Dear parents,

This book aims to assist young students in their Language class. For this reason, it follows the school textbook lesson by lesson, emphasizing grammar, spelling, and vocabulary according to the rules of school grammar.

The lessons in each section include:
- Analysis of the text or poem from the Student's Book, which includes: a. the meaning of the text or poem, b. the interpretation of difficult words and phrases from the text or poem, c. a vocabulary table with the meaning, synonyms, and antonyms of the most important words from the text or poem to enrich the student's vocabulary.
- Detailed presentation of grammatical phenomena.
- Complete answers to the exercises in the Student's Book and the Workbook.
- Evaluation Criteria for further practice of students in grammatical, vocabulary, and spelling issues of each lesson - the answers to these exercises are given at the end of the book.

The "mastery" of the modern Greek language takes place in primary school, as its teaching is drastically limited in secondary school. This particular book will be a useful aid both for students, to get to know and understand the language material, and for parents, to better guide their child.
