If you are looking for a phone-camera it is perfect, although the camera heats up easily (Sony hasn't managed to fix this problem for so many years), but for a phone there are cheaper options with the same features. It's not possible for someone to spend so much money every year.

I come from S20FE. I decided not to follow Samsung on its path to becoming a copy of Apple. This, combined with the fact that I want a waterproof phone, with an SD card and without the UNACCEPTABLE in-display fingerprint sensor, forced me to go with Sony.
The phone is a decent and simple Android with all the good or bad that means: You avoid a bunch of useless apps (that put cat ears and glitter on selfies, other AR nonsense, etc.), but you lose pleasant conveniences (e.g., LED flashlight on the lock screen, double tap to sleep, tested Samsung apps). You are forced to make do with the poor and non-customizable Google apps for messages and calls. (Edit: Only 15 days call history??? lame! notes don’t lock!!)
The battery is just fine. It discharges a little less than 1%/hour in idle (connected to a smartwatch), and about 10%/hour in use (browsing/calls). I have no experience with demanding gaming. It heats up to a degree I don’t like during fast charging. Fortunately, unlike the unacceptable battery of Samsung, when a notification hits for 15%, it is 15%, not a 3-minute countdown until it shuts off.
Very good fingerprint sensor, fast, accurate, and since it’s physical, it saves you the few seconds needed to target the sensors on the screen, and the 4-5 failed recognition attempts needed to work)
The camera is overrated. (judging from my small experience with manual photography - it might be more enjoyable for enthusiasts). Very handy dedicated button to open the camera/take a photo, very nice/natural colors in printed photos (better than the S20FE). It has more things to tweak than the usual Pro mode of Android (priorities, burst modes, etc.).
On the other hand, nice to say you have continuous optical zoom but the 5x is ultimately ridiculous for a flagship (edit: in practice, continuous can only be used for static photos, because for everyday use it is slow and cumbersome - you just choose something from the 2 extremes for speed reasons).
In general, if you want to take nostalgic autumn landscapes and frozen lakes with the Alps in the background, I suppose it’s good, but that’s it. For point and shoot photography of the moment (e.g., your child playing in indoor lighting conditions), the phone is simply.. inadequate. In 80% of indoor photos, they are shaky/out of focus. I don’t want/don’t have time to do manual focus and adjust ISO/shutter speed every time I lift the phone for a photo to get a good result. (Edit: in some modes, ISO is available up to 6400 (wow), which is enough if the speed drops below 1/100 and you can take a photo indoors - if you have patience, that is). It lacks features such as serious night mode, super slow motion, etc. The infrared light for autofocus distorts the color in the photos (come on, really). I have no experience with video editing applications or connecting to a camera.
Its speaker is good. It doesn't catch the bass of the S22 Ultra, but it is pleasantly clear (Edit: crystal clear, and with excellent three-dimensional sound).
No complaints about the speed. In battery-saving mode, it occasionally experiences sudden freezes of 1-2 seconds (e.g., the page doesn't scroll), but otherwise, I haven't had any incidents of lag/dropped framerate. It heats up during gaming.
No complaints about network reception. It lacks -COME ON- the ability to share Wi-Fi. A pleasant surprise that I can make calls where I couldn't with the Samsung. I don't know if it's just my problem, but during calls, as long as the other person is talking, their voice is covered by white noise. As soon as they stop talking, this effect stops. (Edit: it was related to HD calls and was probably fixed in some update, it doesn't happen anymore).
Overall: Attractive at 1000 euros during Black Friday, but not a super deal (1400 is unacceptable). On the axis between poor and overstuffed Android, it leans more towards the poor - LG had achieved the golden mean :'( Pleasantly less useless lifestyle than Samsung (edit: but it lacks Samsung's finishing touches on important applications). Good hardware but clearly overpriced (in terms of the final result) camera.

Αναλυτικά:
Προέρχομαι απο S20FE. Αποφάσισα να μην ακολουθησω τη Samsung στην πορεία της να γίνει αντίγραφο της Apple. Αυτο, σε συνδυασμό με το ότι θέλω τηλέφωνο αδιάβροχο, με κάρτα SD και χωρις τον ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟ αισθητήρα δακτυλικου αποτυπωματος στην οθόνη, με οδηγησαν αναγκαστικα στη Sony.
Το τηλέφωνο είναι τίμιο και λιτό Android με ό,τι καλό ή κακό αυτό σημαίνει: Γλιτώνεις ένα σωρό άχρηστες εφαρμογές (που βάζουν αφτάκια γάτας και glitter στις selfies, άλλες AR ανοησίες κλπ), αλλά χάνεις ευχάριστες ευκολίες (πχ LED φακός στην οθόνη κλειδώματος, double tap to sleep, δοκιμασμενα apps της samsung). Αναγκαστικα πρεπει να βολευτεις με τις φτωχες και μη παραμετροποιησιμες εφαρμογες της google για μηνυματα και τηλεφωνηματα. (Edit: Μονο 15 μερες ιστορικο κλησεων;;; laaame! δεν κλειδωνουν οι σημειωσεις!! )
Η μπαταρία είναι μια χαρά. Αποφορτίζεται κάτι λιγότερο από 1%/ώρα σε αδράνεια (συνδεδεμένο με smartwatch), και καπου 10%/ώρα σε χρήση (browsing/τηλέφωνα). Δεν εχω εμπειρία από απαιτητικό gaming. Ζεσταίνεται σε βαθμό που δε μου αρέσει στη γρήγορη φόρτιση. Ευτυχώς, σε αντίθεση με την απαράδεκτη μπαταρία των Samsung, όταν χτυπήσει ειδοποίηση για το 15%, ειναι 15%, όχι αντίστροφη μέτρηση 3 λεπτών μέχρι να σβήσει.
Πολύ καλός αισθητήρα δακτυλικού αποτυπώματος, γρήγορος, ακριβής, και αφού είναι φυσικός, σου γλιτώνει τα μερικά δευτερόλεπτα που χρειάζονται για να σημαδέψεις τους αισθητήρες στην οθόνη, και τις 4-5 αποτυχημένες προσπάθειες αναγνώρισης που χρειάζονται για να δουλέψουν)
Η φωτογραφική μηχανή είναι υπερτιμημένη. (κρίνοντας από μένα με κάποια μικρή εμπειρία από manual φωτογραφία-ίσως για πορωμένους να είναι πιο ευχάριστη). Πολύ ευχρηστο το dedicated κουμπί για να ανοίξεις κάμερα/για να τραβήξεις φωτο, Πολύ ωραία/φυσικά χρώματα στις τυπωμένες φωτογραφίες (καλύτερα από το S20FE). Έχει περισσότερα πράγματα να πειράξεις από το συνηθισμένο Pro mode των android (προτεραιότητες, burst modes κλπ).
Από την άλλη, ωραιο να λες ότι έχεις συνεχές οπτικο zoom αλλά το 5x είναι τελικα αστείο για flagship (edit: στην πραξη το συνεχες δεν μπορει να χρησιμοποιηθει παρά μονο για στατικες φωτογραφιες, διοτι για καθημερινη χρηση ειναι αργο και δυσχρηστο -απλα διαλεγεις κατι απο τα 2 ακρα για λογους ταχυτητας).
Γενικα, αν θες να βγάζεις νοσταλγικά φθινοπωρινά τοπία και παγωμένες λίμνες με φόντο τις άλπεις υποθέτω ότι είναι καλό, αλλά μέχρι εκεί. Για φωτογράφιση point and shoot της στιγμής (πχ το παιδί σου που παίζει σε συνθήκες φωτισμού εντός σπιτιού), το τηλέφωνο είναι απλά.. ανεπαρκές. Στο 80% οι φωτογραφίες εσωτερικού χώρου ειναι κουνημένες/ανεστίαστες. Δε θελω/δεν προλαβαίνω να κανω manual focus και ρυθμιση ISO/shutter speed καθε φορά που σηκώνω το κινητό για φωτογραφία, προκειμένου να έχω καλό αποτέλεσμα. (Edit: σε καποια modes ειναι διαθεσιμο ISO εως 6400 (wow), που αρκει να κατεβει η ταχυτητα κατω απο 1/100 και να βγει καμια φωτο σε εσωτερικο χωρο -αν εχεις υπομονη δλδ). ΛΕΙΠΟΥΝ λειτουργίες όπως σοβαρο night mode, super slow motion, κλπ. Το υπεριωδες λαμπακι για το autofocus αλλοιωνει το χρωμα στις φωτογραφίες (ημαρτον, δηλαδη). Δεν εχω εμπειρια από τις εφαρμογές για επεξεργασια Video ή από σύνδεση με φωτογραφική μηχανή.
Το ηχείο του είναι καλό. Δεν πιάνει τα μπάσα του S22 ultra, αλλα ειναι ευχάριστα ευκρινές (Edit: κρυσταλλινο, και με εξαιρετικο τρισδιαστατο ηχο)
Κανένα παράπονο από την ταχύτητα. Σε λειτουργία εξοικονομησης μπαταριας τρωει (σπανια) κατι ξαφνικά κολλήματα 1-2 δευτερολεπτων (πχ δε σκρολάρει η σελιδα) αλλά κατά τα άλλα δεν είχα κανένα περιστατικό καθυστερησης/πτώσης του framerate. Ζεσταινεται στο gaming.
Κανενα παραπονο απο τη ληψη του δικτύου. Λειπει -ΗΜΑΡΤΟΝ- η δυνατοτητα αναμεταδοσης wifi. Ευχάριστη έκπληξη που μπορώ να κάνω τηλέφωνα εκεί που δεν μπορούσα με το Samsung. Δεν ξερω αν ειναι μονο δικο μου πρόβλημα, αλλα στις κλήσεις, όση ώρα μιλά ο συνομιλητής, η φωνή του καλύπτεται από λευκό θόρυβο. Μόλις σταματήσει να μιλά σταματά αυτό το εφέ. (Edit: αφορουσε HD κλησεις και μαλλον διορθωθηκε σε καποιο update, δεν το κανει πια)
Συνολικά: Ελκυστικό στα 1000 ευρώ του black friday, αλλα όχι σούπερ προσφορά (απαράδεκτα τα 1400). Στον άξονα μεταξύ φτωχού και υπερφρτωμένου android είναι μαλλον προς το φτωχο -η LG είχε πετύχει τη χρυσή τομή :'(
Ευχάριστα λιγότερο αχρηστο lifestyle απο τα Samsung (edit: αλλα λειπει το φινιρισμα της samsung στις σημαντικες εφαρμογες). Καλό hardware αλλά σαφώς υπερτιμημένη (ως προς το τελικό αποτέλεσμα) φωτογραφική.

I come from the Sony 1 iii which I still own. The fact that I saw absolutely no difference regarding the features I won't even comment on; you can see it for yourself in a comparison right now on skroutz. So I will move past that and go on. The fact that I have been a die-hard fan of the company for 25 consecutive years obviously makes me more experienced, as you can understand. Its aesthetics are something else, and without making it a topic, we are talking about the most beautiful device that exists in the world right now. The fact that it is lightweight - thin and has lenses that do not protrude, so you can leave your smartphone on any surface is something very important. Its screen is at very high levels, but forget about 120hz because the overheating reaches astronomical levels in every sense of the word, and the battery drains without you even realizing it. In a review from an owner that I read, it states that the device has stood out for its very good signal. Where did they see that, in which movie, so I can go see it too, because yesterday when I spoke with Sony about my concerns regarding the signal, they mentioned that they are aware of the problem that exists in the Sony 1 iii, that they are aware of what exactly is happening, and they are currently working to resolve the issue with an update by the end of summer. If you play a song on YouTube and turn the volume to maximum, the signal goes for a walk. And I move on to the issue of overheating, which is really something terrible. In many cases, the phone is so hot that you feel there is a chance it might explode, and you turn it off to let it cool down. And all this while I have manually set it deliberately to 60hz in dark mode with multiple app deactivations that I don't use and many other things. Nothing has changed at all; the device has an overheating problem, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar. The company needs to proceed with the update they claim for the overheating issues and the zero, I could say, signal that the device has. And to leave no doubt about my words, I will upload a screenshot right now while I am writing to show you what levels the device is at regarding signal strength. The photographic capabilities in auto mode are not exciting or groundbreaking. To achieve excellent photo and video capture, you need to switch to specific settings that will completely tire you out, and you will miss the feeling of just pressing the button and getting a crystal-clear photo. The sound is a real gem, but one cannot turn it to maximum because it will affect the signal and cause problems with calls.
The positives are the memory expansion, the headphone jack which for many is a gospel, and the fact that it has waterproofing. The Sony Xperia 1 IV, no matter how you use it, you will end up charging it twice a day whether you like it or not, and if someone tells you otherwise, they are lying to you shamelessly. A device of such value does not have a blue light protection app that smartphones costing 250 euros have. In short, it is a very powerful device and very strong in terms of features, while its aesthetics are something unparalleled, but there are problems that need to be solved. There is no one more obsessed with Sony than me; whatever electrical device I buy will be exclusively Sony, but that does not mean I will not mention my strong concerns. I will wait until the end of summer to see if the device's issues are resolved with the update that Sony claims we should expect. If I see that these specific issues no longer exist, then it goes without saying that I will change my rating.
Προέρχομαι από το Sony 1 iii το οποίο διαθέτω ακόμα.Το ότι δεν είδα καμία διαφορά απολύτως σε ότι αφορά τα χαρακτηριστικά δεν θα το σχολιάσω καν μπορείτε να το δείτε μόνοι σας σε συγκριτικό αυτή τη στιγμή στο skroutz.Θα το ξεπεράσω λοιπόν και θα πάω παρακάτω.Tο ότι είμαι φανατικός οπαδός της εταιρείας εδώ και 25 συνεχόμενα έτη προφανώς όπως αντιλαμβάνεστε με κάνει πιο έμπειρο.Η αισθητική του είναι το κάτι άλλο και χωρίς να το κάνουμε θέμα μιλάμε για την πιο όμορφη συσκευή που υπάρχει αυτή τη στιγμή στον κόσμο.Το ότι είναι ελαφριά - λεπτή και με φακούς που δεν προεξέχουν και έτσι μπορείτε να αφήσετε σε οποιαδήποτε επιφάνεια το smartphone σας είναι κάτι πάρα πολύ σημαντικό.Η οθόνη του είναι σε πάρα πολύ υψηλά επίπεδα αλλά ξεχάστε τα 120hz γιατί η υπερθέρμανση φτάνει στα ουράνια με όλη την έννοια της λέξεως και η μπαταρία πηγαίνει περίπατο χωρίς καν να το καταλάβετε.Σε μία αξιολόγηση ενός κατόχου που έχω διαβάσει γράφει ότι η συσκευή έχει ξεχωρίσει για το πάρα πολύ καλό της σήμα.Που το είδε αυτό σε ποια ταινία για να πάω να το δω και εγώ διότι εχτές που μίλησα με την Sony για τον προβληματισμό μου στο σήμα μου ανέφερε ότι έχει εις γνώση για το πρόβλημα το οποίο υπάρχει και στο Sony 1 iii πως έχει με λίγα λόγια επίγνωση για το τι ακριβώς συμβαίνει και δουλεύει την ώρα αυτή για να λυθεί το πρόβλημα με update στο τέλος του καλοκαιριού.Αν βάλεις ένα τραγούδι στο youtube και ανοίξεις την ένταση στο μέγιστο το σήμα κάνει βόλτα.Και περνάω στο θέμα της υπερθέρμανσης που πραγματικά είναι κάτι φοβερό.Σε πολλές περιπτώσεις είναι τόσο καυτό το κινητό που αισθάνεσαι ότι υπάρχει περίπτωση να εκραγεί και το απενεργοποιείς για να κρυώσει.Και όλα αυτά εφόσον χειροκίνητα το έχω εσκεμμένα στα 60hz σε σκούρο θέμα με πολλαπλές απενεργοποιήσεις εφαρμογών που δεν χρησιμοποιώ και πάρα πολλά άλλα.Δεν έχει αλλάξει απολύτως τίποτα η συσκευή έχει πρόβλημα υπερθέρμανσης και όποιος πει το αντίθετο είναι ψεύτης.Η εταιρεία πρέπει να περάσει στο update που δηλώνει για τα προβλήματα της υπερθέρμανσης και του μηδενικού θα μπορούσα να πω σήματος που διαθέτει η συσκευή.Και για να μην υπάρχει καμία απολύτως αμφιβολία για τα λεγόμενά μου θα σας ανεβάσω αυτή τη στιγμή που γράφω screenshot σε τι επίπεδα βρίσκεται η συσκευή σε ότι αφορά τη δυναμικότητα του σήματος.Οι φωτογραφικές ικανότητες στο auto δεν είναι συναρπαστικές ούτε πρωτόγνωρες.Για να περάσετε σε άριστη λήψη φωτογραφιών και βίντεο πρέπει να περάσετε σε συγκεκριμένες ρυθμίσεις που θα σας κουράσουν απόλυτα και πού θα σας λείψει η αίσθηση στο ότι πατάω απλά το Button και βγαίνει μία φωτογραφία κρύσταλλο.Ο ήχος είναι πραγματικό διαμάντι αλλά δεν μπορεί να τον βάλει κάποιος στο μέγιστο διότι θα επηρεάσει το σήμα και θα έχει πρόβλημα στις κλήσεις.

If you are looking for a phone-camera it is perfect, although the camera heats up easily (Sony hasn't managed to fix this problem for so many years), but for a phone there are cheaper options with the same features. It's not possible for someone to spend so much money every year.

After ~20 days of use:
In short:
-Good battery
-Good fingerprint sensor
-Simple Android without many interventions (good feature..)
-Incorporates technologies that are not found in other phones (3.5mm headphone jack, memory card, LED notification - the reason for purchase for me)
-Wonderful colors in printed photos
-I expected more from the camera
-There are no accessories (cases, screen protectors) anywhere in the market
-It probably heats up
-Nonexistent flash (not suitable for emergency lighting)
-Strange screen dimensions (not necessarily bad, but definitely unusual (edit: seems natural to me now)
-Poor factory apps for calls/messages/notes, etc. from Google

I come from S20FE. I decided not to follow Samsung on its path to becoming a copy of Apple. This, combined with the fact that I want a waterproof phone, with an SD card and without the UNACCEPTABLE in-display fingerprint sensor, forced me to go with Sony.
The phone is a decent and simple Android with all the good or bad that means: You avoid a bunch of useless apps (that put cat ears and glitter on selfies, other AR nonsense, etc.), but you lose pleasant conveniences (e.g., LED flashlight on the lock screen, double tap to sleep, tested Samsung apps). You are forced to make do with the poor and non-customizable Google apps for messages and calls. (Edit: Only 15 days call history??? lame! notes don’t lock!!)
The battery is just fine. It discharges a little less than 1%/hour in idle (connected to a smartwatch), and about 10%/hour in use (browsing/calls). I have no experience with demanding gaming. It heats up to a degree I don’t like during fast charging. Fortunately, unlike the unacceptable battery of Samsung, when a notification hits for 15%, it is 15%, not a 3-minute countdown until it shuts off.
Very good fingerprint sensor, fast, accurate, and since it’s physical, it saves you the few seconds needed to target the sensors on the screen, and the 4-5 failed recognition attempts needed to work)
The camera is overrated. (judging from my small experience with manual photography - it might be more enjoyable for enthusiasts). Very handy dedicated button to open the camera/take a photo, very nice/natural colors in printed photos (better than the S20FE). It has more things to tweak than the usual Pro mode of Android (priorities, burst modes, etc.).
On the other hand, nice to say you have continuous optical zoom but the 5x is ultimately ridiculous for a flagship (edit: in practice, continuous can only be used for static photos, because for everyday use it is slow and cumbersome - you just choose something from the 2 extremes for speed reasons).
In general, if you want to take nostalgic autumn landscapes and frozen lakes with the Alps in the background, I suppose it’s good, but that’s it. For point and shoot photography of the moment (e.g., your child playing in indoor lighting conditions), the phone is simply.. inadequate. In 80% of indoor photos, they are shaky/out of focus. I don’t want/don’t have time to do manual focus and adjust ISO/shutter speed every time I lift the phone for a photo to get a good result. (Edit: in some modes, ISO is available up to 6400 (wow), which is enough if the speed drops below 1/100 and you can take a photo indoors - if you have patience, that is). It lacks features such as serious night mode, super slow motion, etc. The infrared light for autofocus distorts the color in the photos (come on, really). I have no experience with video editing applications or connecting to a camera.
Its speaker is good. It doesn't catch the bass of the S22 Ultra, but it is pleasantly clear (Edit: crystal clear, and with excellent three-dimensional sound).
No complaints about the speed. In battery-saving mode, it occasionally experiences sudden freezes of 1-2 seconds (e.g., the page doesn't scroll), but otherwise, I haven't had any incidents of lag/dropped framerate. It heats up during gaming.
No complaints about network reception. It lacks -COME ON- the ability to share Wi-Fi. A pleasant surprise that I can make calls where I couldn't with the Samsung. I don't know if it's just my problem, but during calls, as long as the other person is talking, their voice is covered by white noise. As soon as they stop talking, this effect stops. (Edit: it was related to HD calls and was probably fixed in some update, it doesn't happen anymore).
Overall: Attractive at 1000 euros during Black Friday, but not a super deal (1400 is unacceptable). On the axis between poor and overstuffed Android, it leans more towards the poor - LG had achieved the golden mean :'( Pleasantly less useless lifestyle than Samsung (edit: but it lacks Samsung's finishing touches on important applications). Good hardware but clearly overpriced (in terms of the final result) camera.

Αναλυτικά:
Προέρχομαι απο S20FE. Αποφάσισα να μην ακολουθησω τη Samsung στην πορεία της να γίνει αντίγραφο της Apple. Αυτο, σε συνδυασμό με το ότι θέλω τηλέφωνο αδιάβροχο, με κάρτα SD και χωρις τον ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟ αισθητήρα δακτυλικου αποτυπωματος στην οθόνη, με οδηγησαν αναγκαστικα στη Sony.
Το τηλέφωνο είναι τίμιο και λιτό Android με ό,τι καλό ή κακό αυτό σημαίνει: Γλιτώνεις ένα σωρό άχρηστες εφαρμογές (που βάζουν αφτάκια γάτας και glitter στις selfies, άλλες AR ανοησίες κλπ), αλλά χάνεις ευχάριστες ευκολίες (πχ LED φακός στην οθόνη κλειδώματος, double tap to sleep, δοκιμασμενα apps της samsung). Αναγκαστικα πρεπει να βολευτεις με τις φτωχες και μη παραμετροποιησιμες εφαρμογες της google για μηνυματα και τηλεφωνηματα. (Edit: Μονο 15 μερες ιστορικο κλησεων;;; laaame! δεν κλειδωνουν οι σημειωσεις!! )
Η μπαταρία είναι μια χαρά. Αποφορτίζεται κάτι λιγότερο από 1%/ώρα σε αδράνεια (συνδεδεμένο με smartwatch), και καπου 10%/ώρα σε χρήση (browsing/τηλέφωνα). Δεν εχω εμπειρία από απαιτητικό gaming. Ζεσταίνεται σε βαθμό που δε μου αρέσει στη γρήγορη φόρτιση. Ευτυχώς, σε αντίθεση με την απαράδεκτη μπαταρία των Samsung, όταν χτυπήσει ειδοποίηση για το 15%, ειναι 15%, όχι αντίστροφη μέτρηση 3 λεπτών μέχρι να σβήσει.
Πολύ καλός αισθητήρα δακτυλικού αποτυπώματος, γρήγορος, ακριβής, και αφού είναι φυσικός, σου γλιτώνει τα μερικά δευτερόλεπτα που χρειάζονται για να σημαδέψεις τους αισθητήρες στην οθόνη, και τις 4-5 αποτυχημένες προσπάθειες αναγνώρισης που χρειάζονται για να δουλέψουν)
Η φωτογραφική μηχανή είναι υπερτιμημένη. (κρίνοντας από μένα με κάποια μικρή εμπειρία από manual φωτογραφία-ίσως για πορωμένους να είναι πιο ευχάριστη). Πολύ ευχρηστο το dedicated κουμπί για να ανοίξεις κάμερα/για να τραβήξεις φωτο, Πολύ ωραία/φυσικά χρώματα στις τυπωμένες φωτογραφίες (καλύτερα από το S20FE). Έχει περισσότερα πράγματα να πειράξεις από το συνηθισμένο Pro mode των android (προτεραιότητες, burst modes κλπ).
Από την άλλη, ωραιο να λες ότι έχεις συνεχές οπτικο zoom αλλά το 5x είναι τελικα αστείο για flagship (edit: στην πραξη το συνεχες δεν μπορει να χρησιμοποιηθει παρά μονο για στατικες φωτογραφιες, διοτι για καθημερινη χρηση ειναι αργο και δυσχρηστο -απλα διαλεγεις κατι απο τα 2 ακρα για λογους ταχυτητας).
Γενικα, αν θες να βγάζεις νοσταλγικά φθινοπωρινά τοπία και παγωμένες λίμνες με φόντο τις άλπεις υποθέτω ότι είναι καλό, αλλά μέχρι εκεί. Για φωτογράφιση point and shoot της στιγμής (πχ το παιδί σου που παίζει σε συνθήκες φωτισμού εντός σπιτιού), το τηλέφωνο είναι απλά.. ανεπαρκές. Στο 80% οι φωτογραφίες εσωτερικού χώρου ειναι κουνημένες/ανεστίαστες. Δε θελω/δεν προλαβαίνω να κανω manual focus και ρυθμιση ISO/shutter speed καθε φορά που σηκώνω το κινητό για φωτογραφία, προκειμένου να έχω καλό αποτέλεσμα. (Edit: σε καποια modes ειναι διαθεσιμο ISO εως 6400 (wow), που αρκει να κατεβει η ταχυτητα κατω απο 1/100 και να βγει καμια φωτο σε εσωτερικο χωρο -αν εχεις υπομονη δλδ). ΛΕΙΠΟΥΝ λειτουργίες όπως σοβαρο night mode, super slow motion, κλπ. Το υπεριωδες λαμπακι για το autofocus αλλοιωνει το χρωμα στις φωτογραφίες (ημαρτον, δηλαδη). Δεν εχω εμπειρια από τις εφαρμογές για επεξεργασια Video ή από σύνδεση με φωτογραφική μηχανή.
Το ηχείο του είναι καλό. Δεν πιάνει τα μπάσα του S22 ultra, αλλα ειναι ευχάριστα ευκρινές (Edit: κρυσταλλινο, και με εξαιρετικο τρισδιαστατο ηχο)
Κανένα παράπονο από την ταχύτητα. Σε λειτουργία εξοικονομησης μπαταριας τρωει (σπανια) κατι ξαφνικά κολλήματα 1-2 δευτερολεπτων (πχ δε σκρολάρει η σελιδα) αλλά κατά τα άλλα δεν είχα κανένα περιστατικό καθυστερησης/πτώσης του framerate. Ζεσταινεται στο gaming.
Κανενα παραπονο απο τη ληψη του δικτύου. Λειπει -ΗΜΑΡΤΟΝ- η δυνατοτητα αναμεταδοσης wifi. Ευχάριστη έκπληξη που μπορώ να κάνω τηλέφωνα εκεί που δεν μπορούσα με το Samsung. Δεν ξερω αν ειναι μονο δικο μου πρόβλημα, αλλα στις κλήσεις, όση ώρα μιλά ο συνομιλητής, η φωνή του καλύπτεται από λευκό θόρυβο. Μόλις σταματήσει να μιλά σταματά αυτό το εφέ. (Edit: αφορουσε HD κλησεις και μαλλον διορθωθηκε σε καποιο update, δεν το κανει πια)
Συνολικά: Ελκυστικό στα 1000 ευρώ του black friday, αλλα όχι σούπερ προσφορά (απαράδεκτα τα 1400). Στον άξονα μεταξύ φτωχού και υπερφρτωμένου android είναι μαλλον προς το φτωχο -η LG είχε πετύχει τη χρυσή τομή :'(
Ευχάριστα λιγότερο αχρηστο lifestyle απο τα Samsung (edit: αλλα λειπει το φινιρισμα της samsung στις σημαντικες εφαρμογες). Καλό hardware αλλά σαφώς υπερτιμημένη (ως προς το τελικό αποτέλεσμα) φωτογραφική.

The fact that I have been a die-hard fan of the company for 25 consecutive years obviously makes me more experienced, as you can understand. Its aesthetics are something else, and without making it a topic, we are talking about the most beautiful device that exists in the world right now. The fact that it is lightweight - thin and has lenses that do not protrude, so you can leave your smartphone on any surface is something very important. Its screen is at very high levels, but forget about 120hz because the overheating reaches astronomical levels in every sense of the word, and the battery drains without you even realizing it. In a review from an owner that I read, it states that the device has stood out for its very good signal. Where did they see that, in which movie, so I can go see it too, because yesterday when I spoke with Sony about my concerns regarding the signal, they mentioned that they are aware of the problem that exists in the Sony 1 iii, that they are aware of what exactly is happening, and they are currently working to resolve the issue with an update by the end of summer. If you play a song on YouTube and turn the volume to maximum, the signal goes for a walk. And I move on to the issue of overheating, which is really something terrible. In many cases, the phone is so hot that you feel there is a chance it might explode, and you turn it off to let it cool down. And all this while I have manually set it deliberately to 60hz in dark mode with multiple app deactivations that I don't use and many other things. Nothing has changed at all; the device has an overheating problem, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar. The company needs to proceed with the update they claim for the overheating issues and the zero, I could say, signal that the device has. And to leave no doubt about my words, I will upload a screenshot right now while I am writing to show you what levels the device is at regarding signal strength. The photographic capabilities in auto mode are not exciting or groundbreaking. To achieve excellent photo and video capture, you need to switch to specific settings that will completely tire you out, and you will miss the feeling of just pressing the button and getting a crystal-clear photo. The sound is a real gem, but one cannot turn it to maximum because it will affect the signal and cause problems with calls.
The positives are the memory expansion, the headphone jack which for many is a gospel, and the fact that it has waterproofing. The Sony Xperia 1 IV, no matter how you use it, you will end up charging it twice a day whether you like it or not, and if someone tells you otherwise, they are lying to you shamelessly. A device of such value does not have a blue light protection app that smartphones costing 250 euros have. In short, it is a very powerful device and very strong in terms of features, while its aesthetics are something unparalleled, but there are problems that need to be solved. There is no one more obsessed with Sony than me; whatever electrical device I buy will be exclusively Sony, but that does not mean I will not mention my strong concerns. I will wait until the end of summer to see if the device's issues are resolved with the update that Sony claims we should expect. Προέρχομαι από το Sony 1 iii το οποίο διαθέτω ακόμα.Το ότι δεν είδα καμία διαφορά απολύτως σε ότι αφορά τα χαρακτηριστικά δεν θα το σχολιάσω καν μπορείτε να το δείτε μόνοι σας σε συγκριτικό αυτή τη στιγμή στο skroutz.Θα το ξεπεράσω λοιπόν και θα πάω παρακάτω.Tο ότι είμαι φανατικός οπαδός της εταιρείας εδώ και 25 συνεχόμενα έτη προφανώς όπως αντιλαμβάνεστε με κάνει πιο έμπειρο.Η αισθητική του είναι το κάτι άλλο και χωρίς να το κάνουμε θέμα μιλάμε για την πιο όμορφη συσκευή που υπάρχει αυτή τη στιγμή στον κόσμο.Το ότι είναι ελαφριά - λεπτή και με φακούς που δεν προεξέχουν και έτσι μπορείτε να αφήσετε σε οποιαδήποτε επιφάνεια το smartphone σας είναι κάτι πάρα πολύ σημαντικό.Η οθόνη του είναι σε πάρα πολύ υψηλά επίπεδα αλλά ξεχάστε τα 120hz γιατί η υπερθέρμανση φτάνει στα ουράνια με όλη την έννοια της λέξεως και η μπαταρία πηγαίνει περίπατο χωρίς καν να το καταλάβετε.Σε μία αξιολόγηση ενός κατόχου που έχω διαβάσει γράφει ότι η συσκευή έχει ξεχωρίσει για το πάρα πολύ καλό της σήμα.Που το είδε αυτό σε ποια ταινία για να πάω να το δω και εγώ διότι εχτές που μίλησα με την Sony για τον προβληματισμό μου στο σήμα μου ανέφερε ότι έχει εις γνώση για το πρόβλημα το οποίο υπάρχει και στο Sony 1 iii πως έχει με λίγα λόγια επίγνωση για το τι ακριβώς συμβαίνει και δουλεύει την ώρα αυτή για να λυθεί το πρόβλημα με update στο τέλος του καλοκαιριού.Αν βάλεις ένα τραγούδι στο youtube και ανοίξεις την ένταση στο μέγιστο το σήμα κάνει βόλτα.Και περνάω στο θέμα της υπερθέρμανσης που πραγματικά είναι κάτι φοβερό.Σε πολλές περιπτώσεις είναι τόσο καυτό το κινητό που αισθάνεσαι ότι υπάρχει περίπτωση να εκραγεί και το απενεργοποιείς για να κρυώσει.Και όλα αυτά εφόσον χειροκίνητα το έχω εσκεμμένα στα 60hz σε σκούρο θέμα με πολλαπλές απενεργοποιήσεις εφαρμογών που δεν χρησιμοποιώ και πάρα πολλά άλλα.Δεν έχει αλλάξει απολύτως τίποτα η συσκευή έχει πρόβλημα υπερθέρμανσης και όποιος πει το αντίθετο είναι ψεύτης.Η εταιρεία πρέπει να περάσει στο update που δηλώνει για τα προβλήματα της υπερθέρμανσης και του μηδενικού θα μπορούσα να πω σήματος που διαθέτει η συσκευή.Και για να μην υπάρχει καμία απολύτως αμφιβολία για τα λεγόμενά μου θα σας ανεβάσω αυτή τη στιγμή που γράφω screenshot σε τι επίπεδα βρίσκεται η συσκευή σε ότι αφορά τη δυναμικότητα του σήματος.Οι φωτογραφικές ικανότητες στο auto δεν είναι συναρπαστικές ούτε πρωτόγνωρες.Για να περάσετε σε άριστη λήψη φωτογραφιών και βίντεο πρέπει να περάσετε σε συγκεκριμένες ρυθμίσεις που θα σας κουράσουν απόλυτα και πού θα σας λείψει η αίσθηση στο ότι πατάω απλά το Button και βγαίνει μία φωτογραφία κρύσταλλο.Ο ήχος είναι πραγματικό διαμάντι αλλά δεν μπορεί να τον βάλει κάποιος στο μέγιστο διότι θα επηρεάσει το σήμα και θα έχει πρόβλημα στις κλήσεις.

If you are looking for a phone-camera it is perfect, although the camera heats up easily (Sony hasn't managed to fix this problem for so many years), but for a phone there are cheaper options with the same features. It's not possible for someone to spend so much money every year.

I come from S20FE. I decided not to follow Samsung on its path to becoming a copy of Apple. This, combined with the fact that I want a waterproof phone, with an SD card and without the UNACCEPTABLE in-display fingerprint sensor, forced me to go with Sony.
The phone is a decent and simple Android with all the good or bad that means: You avoid a bunch of useless apps (that put cat ears and glitter on selfies, other AR nonsense, etc.), but you lose pleasant conveniences (e.g., LED flashlight on the lock screen, double tap to sleep, tested Samsung apps). You are forced to make do with the poor and non-customizable Google apps for messages and calls. (Edit: Only 15 days call history??? lame! notes don’t lock!!)
The battery is just fine. It discharges a little less than 1%/hour in idle (connected to a smartwatch), and about 10%/hour in use (browsing/calls). I have no experience with demanding gaming. It heats up to a degree I don’t like during fast charging. Fortunately, unlike the unacceptable battery of Samsung, when a notification hits for 15%, it is 15%, not a 3-minute countdown until it shuts off.
Very good fingerprint sensor, fast, accurate, and since it’s physical, it saves you the few seconds needed to target the sensors on the screen, and the 4-5 failed recognition attempts needed to work)
The camera is overrated. (judging from my small experience with manual photography - it might be more enjoyable for enthusiasts). Very handy dedicated button to open the camera/take a photo, very nice/natural colors in printed photos (better than the S20FE). It has more things to tweak than the usual Pro mode of Android (priorities, burst modes, etc.).
On the other hand, nice to say you have continuous optical zoom but the 5x is ultimately ridiculous for a flagship (edit: in practice, continuous can only be used for static photos, because for everyday use it is slow and cumbersome - you just choose something from the 2 extremes for speed reasons).
In general, if you want to take nostalgic autumn landscapes and frozen lakes with the Alps in the background, I suppose it’s good, but that’s it. For point and shoot photography of the moment (e.g., your child playing in indoor lighting conditions), the phone is simply.. inadequate. In 80% of indoor photos, they are shaky/out of focus. I don’t want/don’t have time to do manual focus and adjust ISO/shutter speed every time I lift the phone for a photo to get a good result. (Edit: in some modes, ISO is available up to 6400 (wow), which is enough if the speed drops below 1/100 and you can take a photo indoors - if you have patience, that is). It lacks features such as serious night mode, super slow motion, etc. The infrared light for autofocus distorts the color in the photos (come on, really). I have no experience with video editing applications or connecting to a camera.
Its speaker is good. It doesn't catch the bass of the S22 Ultra, but it is pleasantly clear (Edit: crystal clear, and with excellent three-dimensional sound).
No complaints about the speed. In battery-saving mode, it occasionally experiences sudden freezes of 1-2 seconds (e.g., the page doesn't scroll), but otherwise, I haven't had any incidents of lag/dropped framerate. It heats up during gaming.
No complaints about network reception. It lacks -COME ON- the ability to share Wi-Fi. A pleasant surprise that I can make calls where I couldn't with the Samsung. I don't know if it's just my problem, but during calls, as long as the other person is talking, their voice is covered by white noise. As soon as they stop talking, this effect stops. (Edit: it was related to HD calls and was probably fixed in some update, it doesn't happen anymore).
Overall: Attractive at 1000 euros during Black Friday, but not a super deal (1400 is unacceptable). On the axis between poor and overstuffed Android, it leans more towards the poor - LG had achieved the golden mean :'( Pleasantly less useless lifestyle than Samsung (edit: but it lacks Samsung's finishing touches on important applications). Good hardware but clearly overpriced (in terms of the final result) camera.

Αναλυτικά:
Προέρχομαι απο S20FE. Αποφάσισα να μην ακολουθησω τη Samsung στην πορεία της να γίνει αντίγραφο της Apple. Αυτο, σε συνδυασμό με το ότι θέλω τηλέφωνο αδιάβροχο, με κάρτα SD και χωρις τον ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟ αισθητήρα δακτυλικου αποτυπωματος στην οθόνη, με οδηγησαν αναγκαστικα στη Sony.
Το τηλέφωνο είναι τίμιο και λιτό Android με ό,τι καλό ή κακό αυτό σημαίνει: Γλιτώνεις ένα σωρό άχρηστες εφαρμογές (που βάζουν αφτάκια γάτας και glitter στις selfies, άλλες AR ανοησίες κλπ), αλλά χάνεις ευχάριστες ευκολίες (πχ LED φακός στην οθόνη κλειδώματος, double tap to sleep, δοκιμασμενα apps της samsung). Αναγκαστικα πρεπει να βολευτεις με τις φτωχες και μη παραμετροποιησιμες εφαρμογες της google για μηνυματα και τηλεφωνηματα. (Edit: Μονο 15 μερες ιστορικο κλησεων;;; laaame! δεν κλειδωνουν οι σημειωσεις!! )
Η μπαταρία είναι μια χαρά. Αποφορτίζεται κάτι λιγότερο από 1%/ώρα σε αδράνεια (συνδεδεμένο με smartwatch), και καπου 10%/ώρα σε χρήση (browsing/τηλέφωνα). Δεν εχω εμπειρία από απαιτητικό gaming. Ζεσταίνεται σε βαθμό που δε μου αρέσει στη γρήγορη φόρτιση. Ευτυχώς, σε αντίθεση με την απαράδεκτη μπαταρία των Samsung, όταν χτυπήσει ειδοποίηση για το 15%, ειναι 15%, όχι αντίστροφη μέτρηση 3 λεπτών μέχρι να σβήσει.
Πολύ καλός αισθητήρα δακτυλικού αποτυπώματος, γρήγορος, ακριβής, και αφού είναι φυσικός, σου γλιτώνει τα μερικά δευτερόλεπτα που χρειάζονται για να σημαδέψεις τους αισθητήρες στην οθόνη, και τις 4-5 αποτυχημένες προσπάθειες αναγνώρισης που χρειάζονται για να δουλέψουν)
Η φωτογραφική μηχανή είναι υπερτιμημένη. (κρίνοντας από μένα με κάποια μικρή εμπειρία από manual φωτογραφία-ίσως για πορωμένους να είναι πιο ευχάριστη). Πολύ ευχρηστο το dedicated κουμπί για να ανοίξεις κάμερα/για να τραβήξεις φωτο, Πολύ ωραία/φυσικά χρώματα στις τυπωμένες φωτογραφίες (καλύτερα από το S20FE). Έχει περισσότερα πράγματα να πειράξεις από το συνηθισμένο Pro mode των android (προτεραιότητες, burst modes κλπ).
Από την άλλη, ωραιο να λες ότι έχεις συνεχές οπτικο zoom αλλά το 5x είναι τελικα αστείο για flagship (edit: στην πραξη το συνεχες δεν μπορει να χρησιμοποιηθει παρά μονο για στατικες φωτογραφιες, διοτι για καθημερινη χρηση ειναι αργο και δυσχρηστο -απλα διαλεγεις κατι απο τα 2 ακρα για λογους ταχυτητας).
Γενικα, αν θες να βγάζεις νοσταλγικά φθινοπωρινά τοπία και παγωμένες λίμνες με φόντο τις άλπεις υποθέτω ότι είναι καλό, αλλά μέχρι εκεί. Για φωτογράφιση point and shoot της στιγμής (πχ το παιδί σου που παίζει σε συνθήκες φωτισμού εντός σπιτιού), το τηλέφωνο είναι απλά.. ανεπαρκές. Στο 80% οι φωτογραφίες εσωτερικού χώρου ειναι κουνημένες/ανεστίαστες. Δε θελω/δεν προλαβαίνω να κανω manual focus και ρυθμιση ISO/shutter speed καθε φορά που σηκώνω το κινητό για φωτογραφία, προκειμένου να έχω καλό αποτέλεσμα. (Edit: σε καποια modes ειναι διαθεσιμο ISO εως 6400 (wow), που αρκει να κατεβει η ταχυτητα κατω απο 1/100 και να βγει καμια φωτο σε εσωτερικο χωρο -αν εχεις υπομονη δλδ). ΛΕΙΠΟΥΝ λειτουργίες όπως σοβαρο night mode, super slow motion, κλπ. Το υπεριωδες λαμπακι για το autofocus αλλοιωνει το χρωμα στις φωτογραφίες (ημαρτον, δηλαδη). Δεν εχω εμπειρια από τις εφαρμογές για επεξεργασια Video ή από σύνδεση με φωτογραφική μηχανή.
Το ηχείο του είναι καλό. Δεν πιάνει τα μπάσα του S22 ultra, αλλα ειναι ευχάριστα ευκρινές (Edit: κρυσταλλινο, και με εξαιρετικο τρισδιαστατο ηχο)
Κανένα παράπονο από την ταχύτητα. Σε λειτουργία εξοικονομησης μπαταριας τρωει (σπανια) κατι ξαφνικά κολλήματα 1-2 δευτερολεπτων (πχ δε σκρολάρει η σελιδα) αλλά κατά τα άλλα δεν είχα κανένα περιστατικό καθυστερησης/πτώσης του framerate. Ζεσταινεται στο gaming.
Κανενα παραπονο απο τη ληψη του δικτύου. Λειπει -ΗΜΑΡΤΟΝ- η δυνατοτητα αναμεταδοσης wifi. Ευχάριστη έκπληξη που μπορώ να κάνω τηλέφωνα εκεί που δεν μπορούσα με το Samsung. Δεν ξερω αν ειναι μονο δικο μου πρόβλημα, αλλα στις κλήσεις, όση ώρα μιλά ο συνομιλητής, η φωνή του καλύπτεται από λευκό θόρυβο. Μόλις σταματήσει να μιλά σταματά αυτό το εφέ. (Edit: αφορουσε HD κλησεις και μαλλον διορθωθηκε σε καποιο update, δεν το κανει πια)
Συνολικά: Ελκυστικό στα 1000 ευρώ του black friday, αλλα όχι σούπερ προσφορά (απαράδεκτα τα 1400). Στον άξονα μεταξύ φτωχού και υπερφρτωμένου android είναι μαλλον προς το φτωχο -η LG είχε πετύχει τη χρυσή τομή :'(
Ευχάριστα λιγότερο αχρηστο lifestyle απο τα Samsung (edit: αλλα λειπει το φινιρισμα της samsung στις σημαντικες εφαρμογες). Καλό hardware αλλά σαφώς υπερτιμημένη (ως προς το τελικό αποτέλεσμα) φωτογραφική.

I come from the Sony 1 iii which I still own. The fact that I saw absolutely no difference regarding the features I won't even comment on; you can see it for yourself in a comparison right now on skroutz. So I will move past that and go on. The fact that I have been a die-hard fan of the company for 25 consecutive years obviously makes me more experienced, as you can understand. Its aesthetics are something else, and without making it a topic, we are talking about the most beautiful device that exists in the world right now. The fact that it is lightweight - thin and has lenses that do not protrude, so you can leave your smartphone on any surface is something very important. Its screen is at very high levels, but forget about 120hz because the overheating reaches astronomical levels in every sense of the word, and the battery drains without you even realizing it. In a review from an owner that I read, it states that the device has stood out for its very good signal. Where did they see that, in which movie, so I can go see it too, because yesterday when I spoke with Sony about my concerns regarding the signal, they mentioned that they are aware of the problem that exists in the Sony 1 iii, that they are aware of what exactly is happening, and they are currently working to resolve the issue with an update by the end of summer. If you play a song on YouTube and turn the volume to maximum, the signal goes for a walk. And I move on to the issue of overheating, which is really something terrible. In many cases, the phone is so hot that you feel there is a chance it might explode, and you turn it off to let it cool down. And all this while I have manually set it deliberately to 60hz in dark mode with multiple app deactivations that I don't use and many other things. Nothing has changed at all; the device has an overheating problem, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar. The company needs to proceed with the update they claim for the overheating issues and the zero, I could say, signal that the device has. And to leave no doubt about my words, I will upload a screenshot right now while I am writing to show you what levels the device is at regarding signal strength. The photographic capabilities in auto mode are not exciting or groundbreaking. To achieve excellent photo and video capture, you need to switch to specific settings that will completely tire you out, and you will miss the feeling of just pressing the button and getting a crystal-clear photo. The sound is a real gem, but one cannot turn it to maximum because it will affect the signal and cause problems with calls.
The positives are the memory expansion, the headphone jack which for many is a gospel, and the fact that it has waterproofing. The Sony Xperia 1 IV, no matter how you use it, you will end up charging it twice a day whether you like it or not, and if someone tells you otherwise, they are lying to you shamelessly. A device of such value does not have a blue light protection app that smartphones costing 250 euros have. In short, it is a very powerful device and very strong in terms of features, while its aesthetics are something unparalleled, but there are problems that need to be solved. There is no one more obsessed with Sony than me; whatever electrical device I buy will be exclusively Sony, but that does not mean I will not mention my strong concerns. I will wait until the end of summer to see if the device's issues are resolved with the update that Sony claims we should expect. If I see that these specific issues no longer exist, then it goes without saying that I will change my rating.
Προέρχομαι από το Sony 1 iii το οποίο διαθέτω ακόμα.Το ότι δεν είδα καμία διαφορά απολύτως σε ότι αφορά τα χαρακτηριστικά δεν θα το σχολιάσω καν μπορείτε να το δείτε μόνοι σας σε συγκριτικό αυτή τη στιγμή στο skroutz.Θα το ξεπεράσω λοιπόν και θα πάω παρακάτω.Tο ότι είμαι φανατικός οπαδός της εταιρείας εδώ και 25 συνεχόμενα έτη προφανώς όπως αντιλαμβάνεστε με κάνει πιο έμπειρο.Η αισθητική του είναι το κάτι άλλο και χωρίς να το κάνουμε θέμα μιλάμε για την πιο όμορφη συσκευή που υπάρχει αυτή τη στιγμή στον κόσμο.Το ότι είναι ελαφριά - λεπτή και με φακούς που δεν προεξέχουν και έτσι μπορείτε να αφήσετε σε οποιαδήποτε επιφάνεια το smartphone σας είναι κάτι πάρα πολύ σημαντικό.Η οθόνη του είναι σε πάρα πολύ υψηλά επίπεδα αλλά ξεχάστε τα 120hz γιατί η υπερθέρμανση φτάνει στα ουράνια με όλη την έννοια της λέξεως και η μπαταρία πηγαίνει περίπατο χωρίς καν να το καταλάβετε.Σε μία αξιολόγηση ενός κατόχου που έχω διαβάσει γράφει ότι η συσκευή έχει ξεχωρίσει για το πάρα πολύ καλό της σήμα.Που το είδε αυτό σε ποια ταινία για να πάω να το δω και εγώ διότι εχτές που μίλησα με την Sony για τον προβληματισμό μου στο σήμα μου ανέφερε ότι έχει εις γνώση για το πρόβλημα το οποίο υπάρχει και στο Sony 1 iii πως έχει με λίγα λόγια επίγνωση για το τι ακριβώς συμβαίνει και δουλεύει την ώρα αυτή για να λυθεί το πρόβλημα με update στο τέλος του καλοκαιριού.Αν βάλεις ένα τραγούδι στο youtube και ανοίξεις την ένταση στο μέγιστο το σήμα κάνει βόλτα.Και περνάω στο θέμα της υπερθέρμανσης που πραγματικά είναι κάτι φοβερό.Σε πολλές περιπτώσεις είναι τόσο καυτό το κινητό που αισθάνεσαι ότι υπάρχει περίπτωση να εκραγεί και το απενεργοποιείς για να κρυώσει.Και όλα αυτά εφόσον χειροκίνητα το έχω εσκεμμένα στα 60hz σε σκούρο θέμα με πολλαπλές απενεργοποιήσεις εφαρμογών που δεν χρησιμοποιώ και πάρα πολλά άλλα.Δεν έχει αλλάξει απολύτως τίποτα η συσκευή έχει πρόβλημα υπερθέρμανσης και όποιος πει το αντίθετο είναι ψεύτης.Η εταιρεία πρέπει να περάσει στο update που δηλώνει για τα προβλήματα της υπερθέρμανσης και του μηδενικού θα μπορούσα να πω σήματος που διαθέτει η συσκευή.Και για να μην υπάρχει καμία απολύτως αμφιβολία για τα λεγόμενά μου θα σας ανεβάσω αυτή τη στιγμή που γράφω screenshot σε τι επίπεδα βρίσκεται η συσκευή σε ότι αφορά τη δυναμικότητα του σήματος.Οι φωτογραφικές ικανότητες στο auto δεν είναι συναρπαστικές ούτε πρωτόγνωρες.Για να περάσετε σε άριστη λήψη φωτογραφιών και βίντεο πρέπει να περάσετε σε συγκεκριμένες ρυθμίσεις που θα σας κουράσουν απόλυτα και πού θα σας λείψει η αίσθηση στο ότι πατάω απλά το Button και βγαίνει μία φωτογραφία κρύσταλλο.Ο ήχος είναι πραγματικό διαμάντι αλλά δεν μπορεί να τον βάλει κάποιος στο μέγιστο διότι θα επηρεάσει το σήμα και θα έχει πρόβλημα στις κλήσεις.
Στα θετικά είναι η επέκταση μνήμης η θύρα ακουστικών που για πολλούς είναι Ευαγγέλιο και το ότι υπάρχει η αδιαβροχοποίηση.Το Sony Xperia 1 IV όπως και αν το δουλέψετε τις δύο φορτίσεις την ημέρα θα τις κάνετε έτσι και αλλιώς θέλετε δεν θέλετε και εάν σας πει κάποιος κάτι διαφορετικό σας κοροϊδεύει ασύστολα.Μια συσκευή τέτοιας αξίας και δεν διαθέτει εφαρμογή προστασίας ματιών που διαθέτουν Smartphones των 250 ευρώ.Με λίγα λόγια πρόκειται για μία πάρα πολύ δυνατή συσκευή και πολύ ισχυρή σε ότι αφορά τα χαρακτηριστικά ταυτόχρονα η αισθητική της είναι κάτι το ανεπανάληπτο αλλά υπάρχουν προβλήματα τα οποία πρέπει να λυθούν.Πιο άρρωστος με τη Sony δεν υπάρχει από μένα εγώ ότι ηλεκτρική συσκευή και αν πάρω θα είναι αποκλειστικά της Sony αλλά αυτό δεν σημαίνει ότι δεν θα αναφέρω τους έντονους προβληματισμούς μου.Θα περιμένω λοιπόν μέχρι τέλος του καλοκαιριού για να δω εάν λυθούν τα προβλήματα της συσκευής με το update που δηλώνει η Sony πως πρέπει να αναμένουμε.Aν δω ότι τα συγκεκριμένα θέματα δεν υπάρχουν πλέον τότε εννοείται πως είναι αυτονόητο ότι θα περάσω σε αλλαγή της αξιολόγησης.
If you are looking for a phone-camera it is perfect, although the camera heats up easily (Sony hasn't managed to fix this problem for so many years), but for a phone there are cheaper options with the same features. It's not possible for someone to spend so much money every year.

After ~20 days of use:
In short:
-Good battery
-Good fingerprint sensor
-Simple Android without many interventions (good feature..)
-Incorporates technologies that are not found in other phones (3.5mm headphone jack, memory card, LED notification - the reason for purchase for me)
-Wonderful colors in printed photos
-I expected more from the camera
-There are no accessories (cases, screen protectors) anywhere in the market
-It probably heats up
-Nonexistent flash (not suitable for emergency lighting)
-Strange screen dimensions (not necessarily bad, but definitely unusual (edit: seems natural to me now)
-Poor factory apps for calls/messages/notes, etc. from Google
Detailed:
I come from S20FE. I decided not to follow Samsung on its path to becoming a copy of Apple. This, combined with the fact that I want a waterproof phone, with an SD card and without the UNACCEPTABLE in-display fingerprint sensor, forced me to go with Sony.
The phone is a decent and simple Android with all the good or bad that means: You avoid a bunch of useless apps (that put cat ears and glitter on selfies, other AR nonsense, etc.), but you lose pleasant conveniences (e.g., LED flashlight on the lock screen, double tap to sleep, tested Samsung apps). You are forced to make do with the poor and non-customizable Google apps for messages and calls. (Edit: Only 15 days call history??? lame! notes don’t lock!!)
The battery is just fine. It discharges a little less than 1%/hour in idle (connected to a smartwatch), and about 10%/hour in use (browsing/calls). I have no experience with demanding gaming. It heats up to a degree I don’t like during fast charging. Fortunately, unlike the unacceptable battery of Samsung, when a notification hits for 15%, it is 15%, not a 3-minute countdown until it shuts off.
Very good fingerprint sensor, fast, accurate, and since it’s physical, it saves you the few seconds needed to target the sensors on the screen, and the 4-5 failed recognition attempts needed to work)
The camera is overrated. (judging from my small experience with manual photography - it might be more enjoyable for enthusiasts). Very handy dedicated button to open the camera/take a photo, very nice/natural colors in printed photos (better than the S20FE). It has more things to tweak than the usual Pro mode of Android (priorities, burst modes, etc.).
On the other hand, nice to say you have continuous optical zoom but the 5x is ultimately ridiculous for a flagship (edit: in practice, continuous can only be used for static photos, because for everyday use it is slow and cumbersome - you just choose something from the 2 extremes for speed reasons).
In general, if you want to take nostalgic autumn landscapes and frozen lakes with the Alps in the background, I suppose it’s good, but that’s it. For point and shoot photography of the moment (e.g., your child playing in indoor lighting conditions), the phone is simply.. inadequate. In 80% of indoor photos, they are shaky/out of focus. I don’t want/don’t have time to do manual focus and adjust ISO/shutter speed every time I lift the phone for a photo to get a good result. (Edit: in some modes, ISO is available up to 6400 (wow), which is enough if the speed drops below 1/100 and you can take a photo indoors - if you have patience, that is). It lacks features such as serious night mode, super slow motion, etc. The infrared light for autofocus distorts the color in the photos (come on, really). I have no experience with video editing applications or connecting to a camera.
Its speaker is good. It doesn't catch the bass of the S22 Ultra, but it is pleasantly clear (Edit: crystal clear, and with excellent three-dimensional sound).
No complaints about the speed. In battery-saving mode, it occasionally experiences sudden freezes of 1-2 seconds (e.g., the page doesn't scroll), but otherwise, I haven't had any incidents of lag/dropped framerate. It heats up during gaming.
No complaints about network reception. It lacks -COME ON- the ability to share Wi-Fi. A pleasant surprise that I can make calls where I couldn't with the Samsung. I don't know if it's just my problem, but during calls, as long as the other person is talking, their voice is covered by white noise. As soon as they stop talking, this effect stops. (Edit: it was related to HD calls and was probably fixed in some update, it doesn't happen anymore).
Overall: Attractive at 1000 euros during Black Friday, but not a super deal (1400 is unacceptable). On the axis between poor and overstuffed Android, it leans more towards the poor - LG had achieved the golden mean :'( Pleasantly less useless lifestyle than Samsung (edit: but it lacks Samsung's finishing touches on important applications). Good hardware but clearly overpriced (in terms of the final result) camera.

Αναλυτικά:
Προέρχομαι απο S20FE. Αποφάσισα να μην ακολουθησω τη Samsung στην πορεία της να γίνει αντίγραφο της Apple. Αυτο, σε συνδυασμό με το ότι θέλω τηλέφωνο αδιάβροχο, με κάρτα SD και χωρις τον ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟ αισθητήρα δακτυλικου αποτυπωματος στην οθόνη, με οδηγησαν αναγκαστικα στη Sony.
Το τηλέφωνο είναι τίμιο και λιτό Android με ό,τι καλό ή κακό αυτό σημαίνει: Γλιτώνεις ένα σωρό άχρηστες εφαρμογές (που βάζουν αφτάκια γάτας και glitter στις selfies, άλλες AR ανοησίες κλπ), αλλά χάνεις ευχάριστες ευκολίες (πχ LED φακός στην οθόνη κλειδώματος, double tap to sleep, δοκιμασμενα apps της samsung). Αναγκαστικα πρεπει να βολευτεις με τις φτωχες και μη παραμετροποιησιμες εφαρμογες της google για μηνυματα και τηλεφωνηματα. (Edit: Μονο 15 μερες ιστορικο κλησεων;;; laaame! δεν κλειδωνουν οι σημειωσεις!! )
Η μπαταρία είναι μια χαρά. Αποφορτίζεται κάτι λιγότερο από 1%/ώρα σε αδράνεια (συνδεδεμένο με smartwatch), και καπου 10%/ώρα σε χρήση (browsing/τηλέφωνα). Δεν εχω εμπειρία από απαιτητικό gaming. Ζεσταίνεται σε βαθμό που δε μου αρέσει στη γρήγορη φόρτιση. Ευτυχώς, σε αντίθεση με την απαράδεκτη μπαταρία των Samsung, όταν χτυπήσει ειδοποίηση για το 15%, ειναι 15%, όχι αντίστροφη μέτρηση 3 λεπτών μέχρι να σβήσει.
Πολύ καλός αισθητήρα δακτυλικού αποτυπώματος, γρήγορος, ακριβής, και αφού είναι φυσικός, σου γλιτώνει τα μερικά δευτερόλεπτα που χρειάζονται για να σημαδέψεις τους αισθητήρες στην οθόνη, και τις 4-5 αποτυχημένες προσπάθειες αναγνώρισης που χρειάζονται για να δουλέψουν)
Η φωτογραφική μηχανή είναι υπερτιμημένη. (κρίνοντας από μένα με κάποια μικρή εμπειρία από manual φωτογραφία-ίσως για πορωμένους να είναι πιο ευχάριστη). Πολύ ευχρηστο το dedicated κουμπί για να ανοίξεις κάμερα/για να τραβήξεις φωτο, Πολύ ωραία/φυσικά χρώματα στις τυπωμένες φωτογραφίες (καλύτερα από το S20FE). Έχει περισσότερα πράγματα να πειράξεις από το συνηθισμένο Pro mode των android (προτεραιότητες, burst modes κλπ).
Από την άλλη, ωραιο να λες ότι έχεις συνεχές οπτικο zoom αλλά το 5x είναι τελικα αστείο για flagship (edit: στην πραξη το συνεχες δεν μπορει να χρησιμοποιηθει παρά μονο για στατικες φωτογραφιες, διοτι για καθημερινη χρηση ειναι αργο και δυσχρηστο -απλα διαλεγεις κατι απο τα 2 ακρα για λογους ταχυτητας).
Γενικα, αν θες να βγάζεις νοσταλγικά φθινοπωρινά τοπία και παγωμένες λίμνες με φόντο τις άλπεις υποθέτω ότι είναι καλό, αλλά μέχρι εκεί. Για φωτογράφιση point and shoot της στιγμής (πχ το παιδί σου που παίζει σε συνθήκες φωτισμού εντός σπιτιού), το τηλέφωνο είναι απλά.. ανεπαρκές. Στο 80% οι φωτογραφίες εσωτερικού χώρου ειναι κουνημένες/ανεστίαστες. Δε θελω/δεν προλαβαίνω να κανω manual focus και ρυθμιση ISO/shutter speed καθε φορά που σηκώνω το κινητό για φωτογραφία, προκειμένου να έχω καλό αποτέλεσμα. (Edit: σε καποια modes ειναι διαθεσιμο ISO εως 6400 (wow), που αρκει να κατεβει η ταχυτητα κατω απο 1/100 και να βγει καμια φωτο σε εσωτερικο χωρο -αν εχεις υπομονη δλδ). ΛΕΙΠΟΥΝ λειτουργίες όπως σοβαρο night mode, super slow motion, κλπ. Το υπεριωδες λαμπακι για το autofocus αλλοιωνει το χρωμα στις φωτογραφίες (ημαρτον, δηλαδη). Δεν εχω εμπειρια από τις εφαρμογές για επεξεργασια Video ή από σύνδεση με φωτογραφική μηχανή.
Το ηχείο του είναι καλό. Δεν πιάνει τα μπάσα του S22 ultra, αλλα ειναι ευχάριστα ευκρινές (Edit: κρυσταλλινο, και με εξαιρετικο τρισδιαστατο ηχο)
Κανένα παράπονο από την ταχύτητα. Σε λειτουργία εξοικονομησης μπαταριας τρωει (σπανια) κατι ξαφνικά κολλήματα 1-2 δευτερολεπτων (πχ δε σκρολάρει η σελιδα) αλλά κατά τα άλλα δεν είχα κανένα περιστατικό καθυστερησης/πτώσης του framerate. Ζεσταινεται στο gaming.
Κανενα παραπονο απο τη ληψη του δικτύου. Λειπει -ΗΜΑΡΤΟΝ- η δυνατοτητα αναμεταδοσης wifi. Ευχάριστη έκπληξη που μπορώ να κάνω τηλέφωνα εκεί που δεν μπορούσα με το Samsung. Δεν ξερω αν ειναι μονο δικο μου πρόβλημα, αλλα στις κλήσεις, όση ώρα μιλά ο συνομιλητής, η φωνή του καλύπτεται από λευκό θόρυβο. Μόλις σταματήσει να μιλά σταματά αυτό το εφέ. (Edit: αφορουσε HD κλησεις και μαλλον διορθωθηκε σε καποιο update, δεν το κανει πια)
Συνολικά: Ελκυστικό στα 1000 ευρώ του black friday, αλλα όχι σούπερ προσφορά (απαράδεκτα τα 1400). Στον άξονα μεταξύ φτωχού και υπερφρτωμένου android είναι μαλλον προς το φτωχο -η LG είχε πετύχει τη χρυσή τομή :'(
Ευχάριστα λιγότερο αχρηστο lifestyle απο τα Samsung (edit: αλλα λειπει το φινιρισμα της samsung στις σημαντικες εφαρμογες). Καλό hardware αλλά σαφώς υπερτιμημένη (ως προς το τελικό αποτέλεσμα) φωτογραφική.
The phone is just perfect... Generally, Sony is synonymous with the word quality!!! The truth is that the price is high, but the benefits fully meet my demands, if not exceed them!!!

I come from the Sony 1 iii which I still own. The fact that I saw absolutely no difference regarding the features I won't even comment on; you can see it for yourself in a comparison right now on skroutz. So I will move past that and go on. The fact that I have been a die-hard fan of the company for 25 consecutive years obviously makes me more experienced, as you can understand. Its aesthetics are something else, and without making it a topic, we are talking about the most beautiful device that exists in the world right now. The fact that it is lightweight - thin and has lenses that do not protrude, so you can leave your smartphone on any surface is something very important. Its screen is at very high levels, but forget about 120hz because the overheating reaches astronomical levels in every sense of the word, and the battery drains without you even realizing it. In a review from an owner that I read, it states that the device has stood out for its very good signal. Where did they see that, in which movie, so I can go see it too, because yesterday when I spoke with Sony about my concerns regarding the signal, they mentioned that they are aware of the problem that exists in the Sony 1 iii, that they are aware of what exactly is happening, and they are currently working to resolve the issue with an update by the end of summer. If you play a song on YouTube and turn the volume to maximum, the signal goes for a walk. And I move on to the issue of overheating, which is really something terrible. In many cases, the phone is so hot that you feel there is a chance it might explode, and you turn it off to let it cool down. And all this while I have manually set it deliberately to 60hz in dark mode with multiple app deactivations that I don't use and many other things. Nothing has changed at all; the device has an overheating problem, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar. The company needs to proceed with the update they claim for the overheating issues and the zero, I could say, signal that the device has. And to leave no doubt about my words, I will upload a screenshot right now while I am writing to show you what levels the device is at regarding signal strength. The photographic capabilities in auto mode are not exciting or groundbreaking. To achieve excellent photo and video capture, you need to switch to specific settings that will completely tire you out, and you will miss the feeling of just pressing the button and getting a crystal-clear photo. The sound is a real gem, but one cannot turn it to maximum because it will affect the signal and cause problems with calls.
The positives are the memory expansion, the headphone jack which for many is a gospel, and the fact that it has waterproofing. The Sony Xperia 1 IV, no matter how you use it, you will end up charging it twice a day whether you like it or not, and if someone tells you otherwise, they are lying to you shamelessly. A device of such value does not have a blue light protection app that smartphones costing 250 euros have. In short, it is a very powerful device and very strong in terms of features, while its aesthetics are something unparalleled, but there are problems that need to be solved. There is no one more obsessed with Sony than me; whatever electrical device I buy will be exclusively Sony, but that does not mean I will not mention my strong concerns. I will wait until the end of summer to see if the device's issues are resolved with the update that Sony claims we should expect. If I see that these specific issues no longer exist, then it goes without saying that I will change my rating.
Προέρχομαι από το Sony 1 iii το οποίο διαθέτω ακόμα.Το ότι δεν είδα καμία διαφορά απολύτως σε ότι αφορά τα χαρακτηριστικά δεν θα το σχολιάσω καν μπορείτε να το δείτε μόνοι σας σε συγκριτικό αυτή τη στιγμή στο skroutz.Θα το ξεπεράσω λοιπόν και θα πάω παρακάτω.Tο ότι είμαι φανατικός οπαδός της εταιρείας εδώ και 25 συνεχόμενα έτη προφανώς όπως αντιλαμβάνεστε με κάνει πιο έμπειρο.Η αισθητική του είναι το κάτι άλλο και χωρίς να το κάνουμε θέμα μιλάμε για την πιο όμορφη συσκευή που υπάρχει αυτή τη στιγμή στον κόσμο.Το ότι είναι ελαφριά - λεπτή και με φακούς που δεν προεξέχουν και έτσι μπορείτε να αφήσετε σε οποιαδήποτε επιφάνεια το smartphone σας είναι κάτι πάρα πολύ σημαντικό.Η οθόνη του είναι σε πάρα πολύ υψηλά επίπεδα αλλά ξεχάστε τα 120hz γιατί η υπερθέρμανση φτάνει στα ουράνια με όλη την έννοια της λέξεως και η μπαταρία πηγαίνει περίπατο χωρίς καν να το καταλάβετε.Σε μία αξιολόγηση ενός κατόχου που έχω διαβάσει γράφει ότι η συσκευή έχει ξεχωρίσει για το πάρα πολύ καλό της σήμα.Που το είδε αυτό σε ποια ταινία για να πάω να το δω και εγώ διότι εχτές που μίλησα με την Sony για τον προβληματισμό μου στο σήμα μου ανέφερε ότι έχει εις γνώση για το πρόβλημα το οποίο υπάρχει και στο Sony 1 iii πως έχει με λίγα λόγια επίγνωση για το τι ακριβώς συμβαίνει και δουλεύει την ώρα αυτή για να λυθεί το πρόβλημα με update στο τέλος του καλοκαιριού.Αν βάλεις ένα τραγούδι στο youtube και ανοίξεις την ένταση στο μέγιστο το σήμα κάνει βόλτα.Και περνάω στο θέμα της υπερθέρμανσης που πραγματικά είναι κάτι φοβερό.Σε πολλές περιπτώσεις είναι τόσο καυτό το κινητό που αισθάνεσαι ότι υπάρχει περίπτωση να εκραγεί και το απενεργοποιείς για να κρυώσει.Και όλα αυτά εφόσον χειροκίνητα το έχω εσκεμμένα στα 60hz σε σκούρο θέμα με πολλαπλές απενεργοποιήσεις εφαρμογών που δεν χρησιμοποιώ και πάρα πολλά άλλα.Δεν έχει αλλάξει απολύτως τίποτα η συσκευή έχει πρόβλημα υπερθέρμανσης και όποιος πει το αντίθετο είναι ψεύτης.Η εταιρεία πρέπει να περάσει στο update που δηλώνει για τα προβλήματα της υπερθέρμανσης και του μηδενικού θα μπορούσα να πω σήματος που διαθέτει η συσκευή.Και για να μην υπάρχει καμία απολύτως αμφιβολία για τα λεγόμενά μου θα σας ανεβάσω αυτή τη στιγμή που γράφω screenshot σε τι επίπεδα βρίσκεται η συσκευή σε ότι αφορά τη δυναμικότητα του σήματος.Οι φωτογραφικές ικανότητες στο auto δεν είναι συναρπαστικές ούτε πρωτόγνωρες.Για να περάσετε σε άριστη λήψη φωτογραφιών και βίντεο πρέπει να περάσετε σε συγκεκριμένες ρυθμίσεις που θα σας κουράσουν απόλυτα και πού θα σας λείψει η αίσθηση στο ότι πατάω απλά το Button και βγαίνει μία φωτογραφία κρύσταλλο.Ο ήχος είναι πραγματικό διαμάντι αλλά δεν μπορεί να τον βάλει κάποιος στο μέγιστο διότι θα επηρεάσει το σήμα και θα έχει πρόβλημα στις κλήσεις.
Στα θετικά είναι η επέκταση μνήμης η θύρα ακουστικών που για πολλούς είναι Ευαγγέλιο και το ότι υπάρχει η αδιαβροχοποίηση.Το Sony Xperia 1 IV όπως και αν το δουλέψετε τις δύο φορτίσεις την ημέρα θα τις κάνετε έτσι και αλλιώς θέλετε δεν θέλετε και εάν σας πει κάποιος κάτι διαφορετικό σας κοροϊδεύει ασύστολα.Μια συσκευή τέτοιας αξίας και δεν διαθέτει εφαρμογή προστασίας ματιών που διαθέτουν Smartphones των 250 ευρώ.Με λίγα λόγια πρόκειται για μία πάρα πολύ δυνατή συσκευή και πολύ ισχυρή σε ότι αφορά τα χαρακτηριστικά ταυτόχρονα η αισθητική της είναι κάτι το ανεπανάληπτο αλλά υπάρχουν προβλήματα τα οποία πρέπει να λυθούν.Πιο άρρωστος με τη Sony δεν υπάρχει από μένα εγώ ότι ηλεκτρική συσκευή και αν πάρω θα είναι αποκλειστικά της Sony αλλά αυτό δεν σημαίνει ότι δεν θα αναφέρω τους έντονους προβληματισμούς μου.Θα περιμένω λοιπόν μέχρι τέλος του καλοκαιριού για να δω εάν λυθούν τα προβλήματα της συσκευής με το update που δηλώνει η Sony πως πρέπει να αναμένουμε.Aν δω ότι τα συγκεκριμένα θέματα δεν υπάρχουν πλέον τότε εννοείται πως είναι αυτονόητο ότι θα περάσω σε αλλαγή της αξιολόγησης.
