Because I am a man (!), the width fits me perfectly. However, I believe that I literally wasted excessive money on a piece of plastic that burned my foot from the beginning with walking and worst of all, it caused a wound on my heel. I have worn dozens of flip-flops, and none of them felt as terrible as this one. What a shame
