The LZ2000 65 TV has replaced a 2012 Panasonic plasma ST50, which was already very good even by today's standards. The difference is significant, especially in HDR 4K. The image leaves you speechless, with incredible brightness and colors that are close to reality with amazing accuracy, something that, in my opinion, only Panasonic and Sony can achieve. I don't know if I can be very objective because I have been buying products from this company for years. Recently, I also purchased the Panasonic UB9000 Blu-ray player, and believe me, the combination of the two is amazing. The panel is from LG, which goes to Japan for panel selection (luminance uniformity) and modification with the Master OLED Pro Luminance Booster to achieve very high levels of brightness, with a metal plate on the back for heat absorption. You can see a video on YouTube by HDTVTest (The most accurate OLED TV on the planet! 1000 nits).
As for the sound, even though I own a soundbar (Pioneer HTP-SB510 from 2012), I chose the LZ2000 (at the last moment) instead of the LZ1500, which is 500 euros cheaper, with the only difference being the sound. And fortunately, the sound is something else, with 7 channels and a built-in woofer of 160 watts in total, with Atmos speakers on the top. The TV's sound won't outperform a decent 5.1 system with serious speakers (which I have), but, like in my case, you will rarely need to use them. The sound system is made by TECHNICS, which is under the Panasonic brand name. I have had their stereo since 1998, and they work flawlessly. I'm not good at writing, so to avoid boring anyone who is interested in more details, it's best to take a look on the internet. The build quality is very good, assembled in Poland (probably at TCL's factory) and not in the Czech Republic, where the old plasma and Blu-ray were made. I was a bit concerned at first, but everything is fine.
My Home Screen 7.0 by Panasonic is the smart system for applications. You won't find everything there, but it's simple, beautiful, and does its job incredibly fast. Opening Netflix is a matter of seconds. I connected my PS5 with Gran Turismo 7, and I must admit it left me speechless. It also has several settings for gamers.
To conclude, it is expensive, but it would be good for anyone who can and is interested to go and see it in person to understand how cinematic this TV is. And another interesting video on YouTube by HXOS Plus (Panasonic LZ2000 OLED 2022 television review). It has a metallic rotating stand weighing 5 kilograms, very high quality, and not plastic feet.
Update 4-2-23:
Something else about the sound after almost two months of use. It is truly impressive. Many times during a movie, I pause it, thinking that something is happening outside. Or I rewind the movie a few seconds to confirm that the sound I heard was actually coming from the TV, and almost always it was. You will hear much better sound from a good Blu-ray movie compared to streaming services. The sound is crystal clear and comes from everywhere except the back where we sit. When I feel like having a bit more noise, I open the subwoofer that I have connected to the TV's headphone output (there is an option). In conclusion, in my opinion, it has the best cinematic image and the most complete sound on a TV at the moment...
27-3-23:
Perhaps the reason why even the new Panasonic models in 2023 will not be QD-OLED is mentioned in a video on the YouTube channel RTINGS com.
4 month update QD-OLED burn - in & 4 failures from 100 tv test
I remember when Pioneer stopped producing the legendary KURO plasma TV series.
Panasonic hired many of their engineers.

Confirmation for the best cinematic image is made by a German site

Top experts in a blind test rank the MZ2000 Panasonic OLED as the best TV for movies and the best image in a bright room. Among the top models, it is only slightly behind LG overall.
The MZ2000 (MZW2004 in Germany) is the new model for 2024, it has the same panel internally, but it has an additional panel on top called Micro Lens Array (MLA) that maximizes light emissions.
The LZ2000 is truly a delight.
As for the brightness, I lower it for HD signals
because for me it is too intense.
