Description

Description

The WiFi Extender from Pix-Link emits a signal on a single frequency, 2.4Ghz. The 2.4Ghz frequency is the most widespread and has a long range. The repeater can offer up to 300Mbps in total to the devices connected to it. In practice, the actual speed that such a repeater (Wi-Fi 4) can offer to a device is closer to 50Mbps. The speed that each connected device will have depends on the distance, obstacles, how many other devices are connected, and how many other networks are in the same space. It is a Wi‑Fi 4 generation, an older generation recommended for use with a few devices and for applications that do not require high speeds. The connection via ethernet cable offers a speed of 1000Mbps, also known as Gigabit.
