SpellForce III Reforced combines real-time strategy with role-playing elements in a story set before the events of SpellForce: The Order of Dawn. In the aftermath of the Mage Wars, the continent of Nortander is in turmoil, and a mysterious, deadly plague known as the Bloodburn is spreading. The player’s choices shape the story, while party companions have their own skills and equipment.

The campaign lasts more than 30 hours and can be played solo or cooperatively. The game also features online matches, including PvP and Domination modes, as well as cooperative play with different ways to organize factions.
