The Archbishop of Athens Christodoulos himself sent the Circular No. 13 "On the Reading of the Apostle and the Gospel in Modern Greek" from the Holy Archbishopric of Athens in the summer of 2004 to the "Most Honorable and Esteemed Priests of Our Most Holy Archbishopric Here." In it, he advises the priests to obtain the two volumes of the book called "Eklovadion," which the Apostolic Diakonia has published for this purpose.

This book contains the apostolic and evangelical passages that are read annually, and the priests and chanters are called to read the corresponding passages from the translation after their reading in the original. Some priests decided to initiate the above developments by creatively utilizing the meaning of the circulars.

Thus, requests were made to gather opinions from the Church members on whether they would like the translation of the liturgical texts. Such a survey should include samples of translated texts for comparison. And of course, the survey should be based on a representative sample. In this context, we proceeded to conduct this survey.
