Herbstore organic patchouli essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the dried leaves of the Pogostemon cablin plant. It has a woody, sweet, spicy, exotic aroma and is edible.

It is used as an ingredient in cosmetics and to fragrance soaps, and also acts as a fixative in men’s fragrances. It can be blended with bergamot, cassia, oakmoss, pine needles, geranium, lavender, mandarin, sage, myrrh, clove, neroli, rose, sandalwood, white fir, ylang-ylang, and cedarwood. For external use, apply well diluted.
